My favorite restaurant in Causeway Bay for transitional Hong Kong–style steak and Western cuisine. Their steak is especially good, the food overall is delicious, and the service is warm, friendly, and outstanding.

Honestly, I haven’t been here in over 20 years, back when they were at different locations. My strongest memory is of their buttery sole dish, while the rest was your typical Hong Kong-style Western food. As I’ve grown older, I’ve come to appreciate the uniqueness of this cuisine—it’s nostalgic and comforting in its own way. Their lunch set is reasonably priced, and the service is top-notch. I’m sure I’ll be back, probably bringing my parents along for a trip down memory lane.

place: roomy , clean , traditional old hk western dining service: friendly & helpful food: good escargots in half dozen ; sat on a layer of mashed potato , served hot and great tasty , lobster soup so creamy , baked chicken fettuccine topped with cheese , nice and good portion

This Hong Kong styled western restaurant serves decent lunch set at a competitive price (food outside of the lunch sets are expensive). The lunch set comes with a soup, free refill of bread, a main course, a dessert and a drink. While the ox-tail soup was served sizzling hot, they could have kept the bread hot to go with it. The pork chop from the main was tender and tasty but the fish was slightly over cooked. The meal was wrapped up by a slice of mango cake and a drink which you’ll walk out with being satisfied.
