Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

I ordered the stir-fried morning glory, Pad Thai, minced pork with lettuce wraps, a mix of pork, chicken, and beef satay, and mango sticky rice for dessert. The food was quite good and very flavorful. However, the service could be improved. Even though we had a reservation, the staff wasn't very welcoming and seemed in a rush to clear our table the moment we finished eating. Additionally, mobile phone network is quite poor inside, but the restaurant does provide free Wi-Fi.

A decent Thai restaurant overall. The portions are quite generous and definitely feel worth the price, especially if you’re sharing. Most of the dishes we ordered were flavorful and well-seasoned, so no complaints on taste. The only downside was the timing of the food. While the first dish came out reasonably fast, the second one took around 20 minutes, which felt a bit too long and disrupted the flow of the meal. It would have been better if the dishes were served closer together.

Its one of an aesthetic thai restaurant in the mid of tsim sha tsui with awesome thai food. Their choices are huge and tastes delicious. The ingredients are authentic and presentation also feels genuine thai. However, the most lacking is the service and responsiveness from the staff. You have to wait for long and remind them again and again for your food. Also, the thai way of greeting and user friendliness is totally missing as the staff seems local, so better not expect the thai culture. Pro Tip : order at once so that you eventually get your food and make your mind before going that its a thai restaurant run by hong kong locals.

My always go to restaurant for Thai food! The restaurant is very spacious and nicely decorated in Thai theme. I feel like I am in Thailand when I enter in the restaurant. Food are also pretty amazing and authentic! I particularly like the shrimp cake! So crispy with a strong shrimp flavour. The other wok fried dishes are very good too, smell and taste sooooo good! We finished our dinner by a mango sticky rice (classic) which made it a perfect ending! Overall we really enjoyed our dinner at Sun Thai! Kap Kun Ka! 🙏🏻

Sun Thai Restaurant, with over 20 years of history in HK with 4 establishments in HK, features Southeast Asian delights and provides comfortable seatings that allow customers to experience chill vibes. Deep-fried Spring Rolls Freshly fried crackling spring rolls with glass noodles and black fungus. Served with a sweet and appetizing mango sauce. Tom Yum Soup Thai staple. Crunchy shrimps. Slightly spicy with hints of aromatic lemongrass. Curry Soft Shell Crab Baked in Bread Bowl Recommending this for at least 4 people to share. A pot of creamy and fragrant curry with deep-fried soft shell crab which was crispy on the outside and moist inside. Served with thick garlic bread. Stir-fried Morning Glory in Belachan Sauce Cooked to the right point with nice wok hay. Crunchy and juicy veggies in a savory shrimp sauce.
