Attractions, ferries and rental services are busiest at weekends, on public holidays and in the school holidays, so book popular slots early. Hong Kong drives on the left, and visitors can generally drive on a valid overseas licence for up to 12 months; boat trips and ferries may be suspended in bad weather, so keep an eye on Hong Kong Observatory warnings. No phone number is listed, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best starting point for directions and any contact details Google has. Its website is avenueofstars.com.hk, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

this place has the panoramic view of the harbor, and is a good place to watch the light house every night.

The Garden of Stars is a quieter extension of the Avenue of the Stars, offering a more relaxed and less crowded space to appreciate Hong Kong’s film heritage. It features handprints and displays of notable figures in the local film industry, similar to its main counterpart, but with a more laid-back atmosphere. The area is well organized and easy to walk through, with open spaces that make it comfortable to explore at your own pace. While it’s not as grand or as scenic as the main promenade, it’s still a nice addition if you’re already in the area and want to continue the experience without the crowds. Overall, a simple and quieter spot for fans of Hong Kong cinema or those looking for a quick, less busy stroll nearby.

Spectacular panoramic view of the Victoria Harbour. The park is well landscaped with plenty of seating benches available. Due to the location of the park, there are not too many people lingering around other than tourists, predominantly the Chinese tourists, approaching from the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade.

An interesting tribute to the Hong Kong film industry. The statues are nicely framed against the Hong Kong skyline. The statues represent the important aspects of film making - light and sound.
