Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Must Try Japanese Ramen in Hong Kong. Similar taste with Japan. Really good if you have a stopover in Hong Kong.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After a long day of shopping in Mong Kok, Ichiran was the perfect meal. The broth was rich and flavourful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and being able to customise my ramen made it even better. I also loved the private dining booth.it made the experience unique and relaxing. Definitely worth the visit, and I’ll be back the next time!

For sure there were quite a lot of tourists. But the food quality and service was worth the price. My favorite part was the refreshing cold water at perfect temperature.

Ichiran in Hongkong is very expensive compared to Japan. It's like 2x the price. However, since we love Ichiran, we still ate here since we're already in Mong Kok area. Apart from the high price, the taste is almost as good as the ones in Japan. In Japan, there's a little bit more umami and the pork melts in your mouth. I can say it's like 92% quality compared to the original in Japan. The staff were accommodating and professional. They were able to understand our requests during queing since we're a large group of 13 pax. Very nice experience overall.

First time trying Ichiran. There was quite a wait, was there on a weekday around 6PM or so. Quite expensive for ramen, but I guess you pay for the name and experience. Staff was nice, and explained how everything worked. My ramen bowl was delivered very quickly, so I have no complaints about that. Wouldn’t say it’s the best ramen I’ve ever had but it’s also not the worst.
