Very disappointing stay — definitely not a 4-star experience. The only good thing about Harbor Plaza Point is the location. Other than that, the experience was far below expectations. The room was old and outdated, with a strong smoking smell, while the hallways were humid and had an unpleasant musty odor. We booked a room with two twin beds, but were given two single beds instead. The pool is very basic for a 4-star hotel, and there is nowhere for kids to play, which makes it a poor choice for families. To make things worse, I had an unpleasant confrontation with an older concierge who had an issue with my children’s behavior. His attitude made an already disappointing stay even more frustrating. Overall, this hotel badly needs renovation, better maintenance, and improved customer service. The location is good, but that alone is not enough. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families.
