Food is 5 out of 5 and the presentation/plating was perfect. The food offering is original and some are great takes on traditional French Cuisine like the hot and cold French Onion Soup and the soufflé is the best I had anywhere in the world. I was a little on the fence about giving this a 4 star but I would say the issues I saw were with other tables/guests. I would like to say my experience was great and they were very attentive providing a 3 Michelin Star level service. However, I saw other tables not get the same level service (although minor) and the ambiance that was created by one specific table. The service gap I saw was that the plates were not presented simultaneously amongst all guests at another table and I did not see any reason why they didn’t. They were a respectful group and I couldn’t notice anything they did to tick off the staff. The other main thing was there were these two social media influencers dining across from me and it was hard to watch them “do their thing” while at this type of establishment.

Our favorite French restaurant in town. Have been coming here for years and always love the food and experience. Be sure to order dishes with special premium products especially from France, such as pigeon and cheese, etc.

Walking into Caprice, the first thing that grabbed my attention is the breathtaking view of Victoria Harbour. By the time lunch was over, I realised the view was only the beginning. Though Chef Guillaume Galliot wasn't in the kitchen that afternoon, Chef Suveg brought his menu to life beautifully. There was so much love, care and quiet magic in every plate that arrived at the table. The experience began with beautifully presented amuse-bouches in a jewellery box, followed by one of the finest bread services I have enjoyed. Every course that followed celebrated the ingredient rather than trying to overpower it. The summer tomatoes with burrata were fresh and full of flavour, the Brittany blue lobster was cooked to perfection, sweet and succulent, the wild-caught fish was delicate and elegant, and the beautifully roasted lamb was comforting yet refined. The meal was complemented by thoughtful wine pairings, beginning with the elegant Henri Giraud Blanc de Craie Brut N.V., followed by the expressive Central Otago Schisteux La Ferme de Sato 2022, and finishing with the beautifully complex Escalada Do Bibei by Alberto Orte from Valdeorras (2018). Each wine enhanced the dish it accompani

[ Three-Michelin-Starred Luxury in Central 🥂 Caprice’s Stunning Victoria Harbour Seaview Lunch — Perfect for Anniversaries 🌊 ] We celebrated our anniversary at Caprice at the Four Seasons Hotel. The ambiance was incredible, and we were lucky to get the requested seaview seating with a breathtaking panorama of Victoria Harbour. 🥳 The service was top-notch and struck the perfect balance—warm and attentive without being overbearing. The staff were all smiles, proactively took photos for us, and even prepared a lovely custom anniversary plate surprise. 🌟 While many think three-star dining is just an overpriced vibe, this lunch menu truly lived up to its price tag. The Duck Foie Gras Terrine was incredibly velvety, and the Shrimp Bisque Soup was an absolute favorite—so intensely rich. For mains, both the Wild Caught Fish and Grilled Yellow Chicken were cooked to perfection. The Rhubarb Confit Tart and Valrhona Chocolate Ganache with refreshing dill sorbet provided a spectacular finish. 🍓 A great bonus was the professional sommelier introducing unique wine pairings with distinct flavors rarely found elsewhere. It is definitely a splurge, but with its exceptional service, unbeatable v

Had high hopes going in given the long history of being awarded 3 michelin stars. We chose Caprice over Amber to celebrate a birthday over lunch. We were visiting from Canada and communicated with the restaurant via OpenTable with no issues. Service met the standard of a high end restaurant - polite, attentive, and refined. The cocktail menu was walked through in detail and we ended up going with the recommended Water and Leaf cocktails, which we enjoyed. We had a window seat facing the harbour which was nice to see. The restaurant is situated on the 4th floor which I prefer over higher levels where everything looks like ants. I’m sure the night view is nice on a clear day. Regarding the food, I found it too safe and nothing that wowed us. Usually there would be hors d’oeuvres served before the actual course, but I don’t recall that being the case. The Land and Sea tartare was ok and tasted exactly like the ingredients. The Foie Gras dumpling was a bit too salty. I chose the Blue Lobster from the server’s recommendation and was a bit disappointed - the chocolate sauce was interesting however the lobster itself was very standard. The roasted lamb was cooked well to the right lev
