Fantastic vegan food at root vegan. We had the Taiwanese noddle soup, which was the best we’ve ever had. The burger was tasty as well. Service was very friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for the food. Located at the second floor. Entry is through a small building.

Root Vegan is truly one of the best meal spots I’ve discovered in Hong Kong. The flavours are exceptional, and the creativity in their dishes is simply remarkable. I especially loved the stuffed tofu with black bean sauce. It was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. In fact, it was so delicious that we placed a second order. The innovative Tom Yum Orzo was a standout as well, combining the beloved Thai flavors in a unique and delicious way. The Khao Soi Northern Thai curry packed a serious punch, offering a perfect balance of spice and depth. Their range of allium-free options, catering thoughtfully to those with specific dietary needs. Root Vegan delivers a fantastic dining experience with great food that leaves you feeling satisfied and happy. I will be rooting for Root Vegan for days on end.

Wow wow wow!!! I can only be super positive about Root Vegan! The food was absolutely amazing. It was so nice to finally be surprised again by the authentic flavours of the dishes. Absolutely loved the pad kra pow burger and northern Thai Curry. If you like to make your taste buds happy visit Root! 💛🫶

Complete gem. Went with my parents who are not vegan at all and they were both astounded by how creative and delicious the food was. The staff are lovely and the food came super quickly. Everything was so considered, the flavours complex and deep in really a homey, comforting way. The whole time i kept fantasising about living in Hong Kong and coming here as often as possible.
