About Crew
Crew is where coffee brings people together.
Crew, a café in Wan Chai, is at Shop 9A, 156, 164 Queen's Rd E, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.
Cafés, bakeries, dessert and drinks shops are often mainly takeaway with a few seats, and weekend afternoons are the busiest. Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. If you plan to work or study in a café, check for power sockets and any seating time limit.
Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 08:00–18:00, Sat–Sun 09:30–18:00. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 6021 4793. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. It is a mobile number, and many local businesses also answer enquiries on WhatsApp. More information is on its website, crewcoffee.hk.
It has a Google rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 176 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.
Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

We really enjoyed our visit to this adorable little coffee shop! You can tell so much thought and personality has gone into every corner of the space. Instead of feeling like another generic coffee chain, it feels unique, welcoming, and full of character. We found ourselves looking around at all the little details while waiting for our drink. We ordered the Matcha Lemonade, and it was fantastic. It wasn’t overly sweet like many matcha drinks can be. The fresh lemonade gave it the perfect little tangy kick that balanced everything beautifully. It was incredibly refreshing, especially on a hot day. One little detail I really appreciated was the straw! So many places in Hong Kong use paper straws that get soggy halfway through your drink, but they use sturdy compostable straws that hold up really well. It’s such a small touch, but it made the experience that much better. The biggest surprise? Even my 2-year-old absolutely loved it! He kept asking for more sips and even gave it a big thumbs up, which is probably the toughest review to earn. 😂 The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and you can really feel the owners’ passion reflected throughout the shop. We went twice during our stay. We got the sparkling black, creamy black, iced Americano, and cold brew and everything was delicious! Reasonable prices, high quality, and unique black coffee variations, Crew was a treat!

Knowing that OurUhk collaborated with this cafe to celebrate IU' s birthday, my friend and I intentionally visited this cafe tgt once the birthday event started. . Both of us bought the "When Give You Tangerines-Non-Coffee", a drink mixing sugaring tangerine marmalade and fresh tangerine. Topped with a slice of tangerine, the drink tasted sweet with a hint of bitterness and sourness. It was esp refreshing to enjoy during the hot weather that day right at noon. . Upon purchasing the drink, we could receive a gift bag prepared by OurUhk, which included a paper bag, a paper cup, two photos cards, one ID photo, a straw holder and a bookmark, almost all with IU's pretty face🥰. . The canola flower field mural prepared by OurUhk outside the cafe was mesmerising. It definitely reminded me of the classic scene from When Life Gives You Tangerines. . Really admire how effort OurUhk put into preparing for IU's bday. As a fan of IU, I can't express how blissful I am that we could celebrate her bday even though we are far away in Hong Kong. Thanks for all the preparation and hard work🥹.

My friend recommended me this place last year and I have to visit again in 2025! Small coffee shop but good beans and superb dripping skill from the owner! We ordered the fruity beans long black and it was perfect! Reasonable price too. There’s seats next to the cafe so you can order take away bakehouse and pair it with the coffee here. What a combo!
