Grandma’s Coffee, a café in Wan Chai, is at Shop E, G/F, 136號 Queen's Rd E, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.

When choosing a café or dessert shop, look at whether prices are shown, whether plant milks or less-sweet options are available, and whether there is a time limit on seats. Many open seven days a week, but some small shops take a weekly day off; for cakes or large orders of pastries, calling ahead is the safest bet. If you plan to work or study in a café, check for power sockets and any seating time limit.

Opening hours: Mon–Fri 08:30–17:30, Sat–Sun 11:00–17:30. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 6505 9979. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work.

It has a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 95 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Me and my dad’s favorite little coffee place in Hong Kong with THE best coffee in town from the nicest person, made with only LOVE. We came 3 days in a row. We’re sad that you’re not coming back home with us, grandma! We’ll miss u! Love from the Netherlands.

Such a lovely cafe! When I entered, it felt like a warm and safe place away from the thunderstorm. Storefront can be abit unassuming (opposite Levain!) so took awhile to find the place. Only 2-3 seats? as the store is quite small-sized and was glad I was alone so I can fully soak in the store’s calm vibes, retro decor and sweet owner. It was perfect for the rainy weather. Food - Owner recommended either the black sesame bagel with tofu cream cheese/ Early grey bagel with yuzu cream cheese. I chose the latter and it was soooo good! The bread was toasted to perfect, outside was slightly crunchy yet inside was soft. The cream cheese was packed and dense, you can tell it’s not like the typical spreadable soft kind. I felt bad I couldn’t finish almost the last bite because I was already full before that and was rushing to somewhere else, I hope the owner knows it was delicious really🥹 Recommended place to visit! Would try the coffee selection next time☺️

Cutest little cafe ever! There are exactly 3 spots to sit and enjoy (so hope that it’s not too busy). Filled with trinkets and grandma chic aesthetic. Menu of coffee (different bean choices and recommendations) and food, made with love. We enjoyed the Cafe Mocha and Americano with oat milk and both were delicious. They have a coffee loyalty card too, so we’ll be back!

I tried their Pour Over, an upgraded version of Americano. The best I had so far. Their HojiCha Oreo Roll was a good snack with any other coffee, however Pour Over was unique, it was blended and smooth, I wanted to focus on its aroma and taste more since it was so mesmerising! With every sip I could taste 3 different flavours, it’s a secret haha, go try it! She made it perfectly good for me, definitely going back for it, and to try Mint Mocha next time! 🤌🏻☕️🤍
