Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere.

I used to visit when they were more neighborhood, elevated home food back in Wanchai. Now it’s fancy food. Although the food is still good (not as good as before) I cannot recommend it as they now have shark fin on the menu. This is distasteful and should be banned. Shame on the restaurant for offering it and please don’t support it.

This is an HKD298 per person set menu, and this is the portion for two people. It is a very good value for this quality of food. Deng G is a rare restaurant in HK where I don’t taste strong msg or chicken powder seasoning, for this reason we like it very much. Their menu has a variety of flavors, it is not just spicy Sichuan food.

Authentic Sichuan cuisine...the flavor profile is spot on. Not every dish is spicy. It's the seasoning that matters the most. You can find all the classics here along with modern twist creations.

We tried the HSBC set menu, priced at 596 HKD for two people. While the portions were generous, the flavors did not meet our expectations and felt rather underwhelming. What was particularly disappointing is that we were not seated by a window with views, despite the area being visibly empty at the time. We were told that window seating requires a special reservation and an additional charge, which felt unnecessary and unwelcoming under the circumstances.

Really good food. I don’t know why the rating has been hit. I went to the Wan Chai one before they moved to K11 and the quality is still there. It’s not as good and the menu has definitely been changed to cater for a more international audience but it has all the dishes you’d want to see. The pickled fish, the scallion oil chicken (personal favourite), fried rices and noodles. The crab nest noodles were a real treat (pictures don’t look look but it tasted good).
