Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Ramen is excellent but encountered mild rude service when requesting to wait for a table for 6 persons but point-blank rejected by one of the staff. By chance, our group did manage to get the table in the end, and the service improved along the way as the staff promptly brought over the ramen orders and water jugs. A good find for a satisfying late night ramen supper around Causeway Bay.

Still one my favourite ramen spots in HK- clean space, delicious ramen and nice service. Have been coming for a few years now and it’s still consistent.

A unique style, the Karashibi ramen was really good: their miso soup red peppers and Sansho peppers combined really well to give it that balance of spicy and numbness. The broth was okay, the noodles were okay too but it was the meat that stood out as excellent. Melt in your mouth! I got an extra “Big Pork” to try and that didn’t disappoint. The dumplings were pretty average, I wouldn’t get those again.

This is a nice bowl of ramen with different levels of spice you can choose from. The aroma of coriander fills the entire bowl of soup base. Noodles are firm and the egg is cooked to perfection. The pork is melt-in-your mouth pork belly, delicious but just a tiny bit too fatty for me.

First time coming and came in with no expectations. They're known for their beef topping instead of pork cha siu, as well as their spicy broth. I got the classic spicy ramen with nothing extra, with the smallest level of spice and the smallest level of numbing spice. I was pleasantly surprised with the broth and it was quite rich, despite being hammered with so many spices. The toppings were raw white onion, scallions, baby corn and the beef. The bite and impact of the raw onion in the bowl was quite heavy and I kind of enjoyed it. The beef was also really delicious, tender and had a good charred flavor to it. My only gripe with the entire bowl were the noodles; they actually felt like the noodles you'd get a wonton noodle shop rather than a Japanese ramen shop. The gyoza were also great and pan fried perfectly and had a balanced flavor to the filling. Overall a great bowl of ramen that has a questionable choice of noodles.
