When choosing a restaurant, check whether the menu shows prices and the service charge, whether you need to book, and whether there are vegetarian or children's options. Restaurants must hold a licence from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, usually displayed inside. Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve are peak booking times, and some restaurants offer set menus or add a surcharge on festive days, so ask ahead. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.

Opening hours: Mon–Thu 08:00–21:00, Fri–Sat 08:00–22:00, Sun 08:00–21:00. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 9889 0206. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. It is a mobile number, and many local businesses also answer enquiries on WhatsApp.

At 4.0 out of 5 on Google (244 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Kwun Tong is part of the Kwun Tong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Many Kwun Tong industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios; note the building name and floor, as access can differ in the evening and at weekends.

Best dim sum I’ve had in HK. Huge portion, quality ingredients. Custard buns are not in the photos but are highly recommended too!

I'm a westerner but have lived in Hong Kong for 15+ years. My family took me here based on a good experience they had the night before. I had high expectations and the food definitely lived up to that. I'm quite picky with dim sum, but this was great. HUGE shrimp dumplings, very tasty. Solid BBQ buns. Amazing stuffed eggplant. Yummy spicy cucumbers. Smooth, delicious custard buns. First time seeing dim sum platter, it was great value. Highly recommended! You can't tell from the simple decor, that this food is high quality!

I recently visited a dim sum restaurant and wanted to share my dining experience. Interestingly, I have actually been to another branch of this restaurant located in an industrial building. Although the food there was tasty, I didn't enjoy the ambiance, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this branch, located in a street-level shop, had a much nicer decor. I went in the evening at around 6 o'clock, and there weren't many people, so there was no need to wait for a table. Overall, my experience at this dim sum restaurant was highly satisfying. The jumbo siu mai, steamed spare ribs, fresh bamboo shoot roll, and pan-fried lotus root cake were all highlights of the meal. The mixed platter allowed me to try a variety of items, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a delicious dim sum experience.

Basing on the review seem a very good locsl restaurant. We thought of having high-tea but after entering then aware they don't offer. First look at their digital menu, their price is on the high side comparing to many others Dim sum restaurant chain. We need to wait for 15 - 20 mins for the steam foods. We have ordered 2 dishes dim sum Mix 点心拼盤 and lo mai kai 珍珠鸡。 虾饺 size is bigger than others (likely double), the skin used is soft and seem like more than 4 shrimps, tasty and QQ. I will recommend to try. 粉果 size is as bit small and ingredients not very impressive. 流沙包 doesn't seem great, even when it hot but the sauce (salted egg sauce) is already drying up. We like their 叉烧包, the ingredients is tasted great & juicy, just perfect for saltiness & sweetness. 珍珠鸡 is just ok, the ingredients used liked chicken mince, dry shrimp and juicy too. As for staff service is just ok.

Wow, what a surprise find in the ever so busy Kwun Tong!!! This is Caterking's (豪隍) second store inside Kwun Tong, as a dim sum fan I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised, from the decor to food and the attention to details... It truly exceeded my expectations. The dim sum was freshly steamed and made in store and they were so good, I especially enjoyed some modern dim sums like the long prawn spring roll with sesame sauce and the modern crispy BBQ bun. Trust me you won't be disappointed. I also enjoyed apart from drinking traditional tea, you have the options of iced lemon tea and coffee, that's a nice spin off from traditional dim sum restaurant. 5 stars for me without a shadow of doubt!
