Nice hotel Chinese restaurant with reasonable price considering the super food quality. Highly recommended the Chiu chow goose and lamb rack

I recently dined at Mingren Kitchen in Kwun Tong, and it was amazing! The garlic charcoal tofu was crispy outside and silky inside, bursting with garlic flavor. The Chao-style chilled chicken heads were fresh and paired perfectly with a special sauce. The salt and pepper chicken skin was super crunchy and addictive! The drunken pigeon was tender and rich in flavor, while the oyster congee had a comforting blend of rice and seafood. Lastly, the crispy shrimp balls with mango were not only pretty but also deliciously crunchy, with a sweet twist. Overall, Mingren Kitchen serves creative and tasty dishes that I can't wait to try again!

A Club, located in Dorsett Hotel in Kwun Tong, specializes in Chaozhou dishes and Cantonese cuisine. The staff greeted us warmly as we arrived, and demonstrated professional and attentive service throughout the entire meal. ◆Silky Fowl Soup w/ Blaze Mushroom & Conch ◆Pig's Lung Soup w/ Almond Juice Both soups were rich and nourishing. Served in a tea pot loaded with ingredients that kept the soup boiling hot for over half an hour. ◆Pan-fried Baked Prawns in Broth Huge crunchy prawns. Tossed in a creamy sauce packed with umami. ◆Deep-fried Chicken w/ Garlic An outstanding dish. Topped with tons of flavorful deep-fried garlic. The chicken was finely marinated and cooked to the right point with a thin layer of crispy skin and juicy tender meat ◆Goose Blood & Chinese Chive Pot Smooth and moist goose blood that had well absorbed the flavors of the savory sauce. ◆Green Amaranth & Bamboo Fungus Veggies in a delicately flavored golden soup. Didn't expect such a big portion. Overall satisfying food quality and reasonable prices. Definitely worth revisiting to try out their signature losui dishes too!

The Michelin Chiu Chow restaurant was relocated to the hotel nearby. Lift service was provided after entering the hotel lobby. The setting was upgraded and looked more elegant. The waitress was very polite and active. Some dim sums were included in the menu. Other dishes were similar as before. The quality was fine. Price was reasonable with reference to hotel standards. The place was suitable for gathering and business meals. Private rooms were available at one end. Washrooms were clean and well equipped.

I am not a big friend of Michellin rating but this reataurant fits well to my taste though a few dishes seem to be quite salty (noodle and vegetarian goose, etc). It ia good that the restaurant is located at rather remote area in the Kwun Tong, otherwise we would have to wait long for a table. It is quite pricey as well.
