家賀屋 (灣仔) is listed under Japanese & Korean in Wan Chai. The address is 1/F, 83 Wan Chai Rd, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Below you will find what people usually look up before a visit: the exact location, contact details, opening hours and the Google rating. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.
Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Popular Japanese and Korean restaurants often take online bookings or queue tickets, and omakase counters usually ask for a deposit.

Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2836 6466; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. Its website is inline.app, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving.

Today is my birthday. I chose this restaurant because it looked cozy and not crowded. The grilled beef tongue tasted great and the food was very fresh.

【Lunch Review: Tsukimi Hon-Maguro Negitoro Don Set】 The overall presentation of the set meal is satisfactory, featuring a thoughtful variety of tableware tailored to each component. The set includes a salad, miso soup, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), Koya-dofu with soba noodles, and the main dish: the Hon-Maguro Negitoro Don (minced bluefin tuna bowl). The appetizers meet standard expectations; however, the Koya-dofu soba appears to be pre-packaged or sourced from an external supplier rather than house-made. The highlight of the meal is undoubtedly the Negitoro Don. The quality of the tuna is exceptional, setting it well apart from typical sushi establishments—the ingredients are remarkably fresh and delicious. On the downside, the chawanmushi was disappointing; the cooking time was poorly managed, resulting in an overly watery texture. That said, the service staff are commendable, demonstrating a pleasant attitude and genuine enthusiasm. most of the menu is HALF PRICE!? this japanese spot serves up fresh sushi & sashimi, plucked straight from the water tank when u order. we went for a WHOLE 🐚hokkaido geoduck for only $338! mind blown. & u must try their insane 🍚rice bowl with a mountain of sea urchin, salmon roe, minced tuna and a raw egg yolk, which i know isn't for everyone, but i’m totally here for it. we also had a 🐠semi-dried atka mackerel with a comforting side of tofu udon but my absolute fav part was the dessert! if u ask 2 days ahead, they'll draw any cartoon you want right on the plate. perfect for celebrations! had the warm 🧁chocolate lava cake and it was pretty good

By far the best sashimi I’ve had. We ordered one of the deluxe platters and it was absolutely amazing. The monkfish liver was also great - like a slightly salty foie gras.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Wanchai, offering fresh ingredients and authentic Japanese flavors. Their Honkaku Sashimi Set is delightful, featuring eight pieces of sashimi, fatty tuna belly, grey mullet, Japanese scallops, and giant red shrimp, accompanied by udon soup and garden salad. Moreover, the Special Seafood Bowl is a must-try, filled with fresh sea urchin, fish sashimi, and giant shrimp sashimi, served with seaweed miso soup—absolutely delicious!
