Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving.

Really enjoyed our experience at Tenzushi in Hong Kong! What makes this place interesting is their focus on marinated and cured sashimi, which gives the fish a very different flavor compared to the usual sushi and sashimi experience. It was my first time trying this style and I absolutely loved it. The curing adds another layer of flavor while still allowing the freshness of the fish to come through. Definitely something different and memorable — I’d absolutely come back again to try more!

All dishes were crafted with passion. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. Flavours of different ingredients compliment but not overtaking each other. The team is great. We had a wonderful time there.

Excellent experience. We are in a room with chef Bong. He showed us the ingredients for every dish and explained it in detail. Highly recommend.

Tenzushi is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The minimalist decor and soft lighting create a serene dining experience. The service is impeccable; attentive without being intrusive. Each dish is a work of art, but the standout for me was the chef's selection of Nigiri incredibly fresh and flavorful. Their Uni is divine. The unique selling point is undoubtedly the omakase experience, where you leave your meal in the chef's capable hands. A culinary adventure worth embarking on. Highly recommend Tenzushi for a memorable and authentic Japanese meal.

It was an absolutely amazing dining experience! I would totally give 6 stars if I could. The attention to details of all the chef on every dish was unbelievable. It was an orchestra of taste, smell and presentation! The chef gave a story to each dish which gave the whole experience a more personal touch. The interaction with the chef and the staff was warm and joyous. The meal was exquisite. Can’t wait to come again to try their next seasonal ingredients.
