Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Nothing special here. Just a sculpture along the shore that shares the same view foe miles around. Very crowded for really nothing. I guess all the tourists just want a picture with it and then be on their way. The only reason this got a 2 star was for the huge helicopter landing in the area.

Hello happy people. Today we are in 🇭🇰 Hong Kong 🇭🇰 - China. You all know that 🇭🇰 Hong Kong 🇭🇰 is a huge city - a megalopolis. There are so many attractions that you can visit. One of these places is “Golden Bauhinia Square - Hong Kong”. The golden sculpture is about 6 meters high and represents the flower “Bauhinia blakeana” - the official symbol of 🇭🇰 Hong Kong 🇭🇰, which is also present on the city's flag. The sculpture is a gift from the Chinese government on the occasion of reunification in 1997. Be sure to visit “Golden Bauhinia Square - Hong Kong”. Greetings and smiles!

Great place to catch the nightly drone show out on the water. There’s plenty of concrete steps along the walkway that can serve as seating.

A little busy and there were some construction works. It's a good place to visit.

Just go there if you interested in the history around it. It is a symbolic site commemorating the 1997 Handover of Hong Kong from British to Chinese rule. But nothing much else. Yes, its good place for a stroll around the harbour
