Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Lee Tung Avenue is a beautiful pedestrian street in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, lined with charming cafés, restaurants, and boutique shops. It was once famous as "Wedding Card Street" because of its many printing and wedding invitation shops, but it has since been transformed into a modern lifestyle and leisure destination while still preserving its unique history. Visiting Lee Tung Avenue was especially meaningful to me because my mom lived here when she was a child. Walking along the street made me imagine what the neighborhood was like years ago, and it gave me a warm feeling. It was a wonderful place to explore and relax.

A unique alley with lots of cute & pretty Christmas decorations. Lots of cafes, and you'll find the large Chagee Tea House, which serves beautiful cakes and the most delicious organic tea. I've been here twice and will definitely be back 😍

It’s a great place to take photos and dogs. Yes it’s a dog friendly street beautifully adorned with Chinese lamps. Liveliness and festive feeling is its signature. The street boasts of some nice restaurants and shopping. Selfies are must here. ENJOYY

Interesting shopping street with lots of red lanterns as decorations overhead. They are lit in the evening so that's really nice. And in the central area is a large (lit) dragon as it's the dragon year. Shops are okay but not too different from other places. I don't think any of the restaurants/cafes there were particularly attractive,
