Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

No visit would be complete without the classic 港式奶茶. This cup was bold and aromatic, brewed from a strong black tea blend, then mellowed with evaporated milk for that signature silkiness. Smooth, slightly bitter, and deeply comforting, it reminded me why milk tea is the heartbeat of Hong Kong’s café culture. It paired beautifully with the bun, cutting through the richness with its robust flavor.. The highlight was the 冰火菠萝油 .Ice‑Fire Buttered Pineapple Bun. A warm, crackling crust gave way to fluffy bread, with a cold slab of butter melting slowly inside — that perfect “ice and fire” contrast. Sweet, rich, and nostalgic, it was indulgence in its purest form. The experience was a reminder of why Hong Kong’s cha chaan teng culture endures — simple pleasures, perfectly executed.

I’ve been visiting this restaurant since I was young, around 4-5 years old onwards. We always stay at Marco Polo Hotel & this is the 茶餐厅 that we ALWAYS go to. We used to always go to Hong Kong at least twice in a year, but due to covid, I haven’t gone back for almost 10 years. Recently went back & visited this restaurant again & wow. TBH, a lot has changed. They renovated the place to accomodate more customers & that’s okay. I’m really happy that they’re still around & is still so well received. They used to have chicken soup macaroni with ham, which was my ultimate favorite! But they no longer have them now :( nonetheless, their tomato macaroni is also really delicious. I actually finished my food! Omg & they even have lobster now LOL cool

In the morning there were only breakfast menu available. They offer some sets with options of menu for breakfast. I tried the set with pork chop, cheese sausage, luncheon meat, and a brioche bun. The portion was big, great for protein to start the day. Pork chop was ok, it had some sauce on it, cheese sausage was juicy, and the luncheon meat was very tasty.

First time spotting this Kowloon Restaurant location here in TST! If you are looking for classic Hong Kong-style comfort food (Cha Chaan Teng vibes), this place definitely hits the spot. I ordered the heavy hitters: the Curry Beef Brisket and the Baked Pork Chop Fried Rice with tomato sauce. Honestly, the taste was great—rich curry and the pork chop was solid. Just a heads up: bring a light jacket. It’s a bit freezing inside, but that seems pretty standard for restaurants in HK. The service is exactly what you'd expect: super efficient and the food came out lightning fast, but don't expect them to be overly friendly. They are there to get you fed and on your way. Solid spot for a quick, tasty meal!

I’ve been here many times, and unfortunate to say that the quality of some dishes has been getting worse and worse. The traditional dishes - pineapple bun and french-styled toast - has remained of good quality. However, other dishes like the Australian Pork Chop was as bad as it could’ve been. The pork itself had aftertaste after every bite, and the skin showed that the chop was fried - this left the skin absolutely inedible. The beef ho-fun was also of poor quality, with the beef overcooked and left without juice. This needs to be looked at. The egg tarts are of acceptable quality. Service of staff has been getting better though. Very attentive and kind, unlike before. Very busy with Mainland Visitors which may have contributed to the declining food quality here.
