first, service was mediocre. however, there are local hongkong breakfast. the sweetness of coffee and some other drinks is fixed, it tastes a bit bitter for me(as a hker). also, we asked for water but turns out we need to pay $12 for a bottle of water... if u rly need water, there is a 7-11 nearby, that would be cheaper. minimun charge is $35 per person. overall, food was not bad, but not very outstanding. there were some of mainland tourists there, but i don't think this quality really epitomizes Hong Kong's signature breakfast. If your expectations are not high, it'd reasonable to give it a shot.

Reached Two Greens around 5pm on a Wednesday in February. The place was packed. The staff led me to a corner. I sat down and they asked me to go around and sit on the other side of the table where I would be completely boxed in. A couple then joined where I had first sat down. Very little room in this restaurant. I ordered a couple of items and they were both served within 5 minutes. The food was very oily, and I didn't like it so much.

The pork lard soy sauce rice with fried egg really can’t go wrong. The chicken steak is generous in size, and the rice bowl itself is quite large, one bowl per person is already very filling. If you plan to order side dishes, you can easily share one bowl of rice and try other items. It’s been a long time since I had stir-fried rice noodle rolls. They were enjoyable, though adding more egg during frying would make them even better. The kaya toast is crispy but very thin, suggest to skip this item.

I've heard so much about Two Greens and finally got a chance to try it since I was staying at a hotel just 3 minutes away. So glad I did! The minced pork patty with sunny side up is absolutely delicious. As an Asian, I know my soy sauce, and I can confidently say that the soy sauce they use at Two Greens is of very good quality - the umami is on another level. It really elevates every dish it touches. The toast with scrambled eggs was also excellent. The slightly charred toast added a whole new dimension of flavor that took it from good to great. The pan-fried rice noodles were very flavorful as well, thanks to that same quality soy sauce. The lemongrass chicken was less of a "wow" compared to the minced pork patty, but still quite decent. The atmosphere is comfortable despite being a small shop, and the staff are nice and friendly. Highly recommend, especially the minced pork patty - it's a must-try! Be prepared to queue a bit, the staff told me that there is a queue outside most of the time.
