About 蘭桂坊

蘭桂坊 is an attraction in Central, Central and Western, at 香港島中環蘭桂坊1號. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.

Attractions, ferries and rental services are busiest at weekends, on public holidays and in the school holidays, so book popular slots early. Hong Kong drives on the left, and visitors can generally drive on a valid overseas licence for up to 12 months; boat trips and ferries may be suspended in bad weather, so keep an eye on Hong Kong Observatory warnings. Buy tickets for popular attractions online to skip the queue; some close one day a week.

Google shows it as open around the clock; any changes on public holidays or in severe weather are announced by the business itself. No phone number is listed, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best starting point for directions and any contact details Google has. Its website is lankwaifong.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It has a Google rating of 4.2 out of 5 from 10,384 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.

Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

LKF, Hong Kong – The City's Ultimate Nightlife Playground If you enjoy a good drink, lively crowds, and hopping from one venue to another, Lan Kwai Fong (LKF) is an absolute must-visit in Hong Kong. What I loved most is that the entire area feels like one giant nightlife district. Pubs, bars, and clubs are lined up across multiple streets and lanes, each with its own vibe, music, and crowd. You can start with a relaxed drink at one spot, move on to a lively pub, and end the night at a nightclub—all within walking distance. The atmosphere is electric, especially on weekends. Music spills out onto the streets, and the whole area comes alive after dark. One tip: check the weather before you go. Much of the experience involves walking between venues, and the vibe is best enjoyed on a pleasant evening. Go here if you enjoy nightlife, pub hopping, and a buzzing atmosphere. Skip if you're looking for a quiet evening. Rating: ⭐ 4.7/5 – One of the best nightlife experiences in Hong Kong.

Lan Kwai Fong is less a street and more an experience—a compact, steep grid of bars, clubs, and international restaurants that erupts with energy after dark. Visit in the late afternoon or early evening, and it's just a quiet, picturesque lane to glance at. For the true vibe, come after 9:30 PM, especially from Thursday to Saturday, when the streets swell with a buzzing, multicultural crowd and the music spills out from every doorway.

Haven't been back for quite a while. Some new bars and restaurants, unfortunately pretty shabby on the side streets and on the upper street. . Saw rats running pass. Sad, we had had great times here for many years.
