Ingredients were ok but the way they cooked did not bring out the best. You can ask for more rice/soup without additional charge but still not recommending for this place. Fried oyster egg with rice - the oyster was fresh but they simply pan-fired with too much oil (probably not the most decent one either) and over cooked. Too much salt were added. Rice was cooked with too much water. Soup was the only thing I’d considered ok. It’s hard to wrongly do the soup when you throw in enough pork bone, carrots, and water chestnut. Stir fried beef with sweet chilli - again too oil and I think they might not fried with fire strong enough to prevent the dish soaking up too much grease.

Cosy place for meal in the neighborhood. Good choice of old dishes. Love the beer. Have not been served in the lovely Chinese cup.
