Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. If you plan to work or study in a café, check for power sockets and any seating time limit.

Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

We had to wait for a bit outside (which was fine) and we were shown upstairs (which was a nice area). We preordered drinks and waited…and waited…and waited. After 25 minutes I received a lukewarm cappuccino and my friend a nice-looking iced fruit tea. After trying mine, I returned the coffee and requested that it at least be hot. After a further 10 minutes the second coffee came and while it was hotter than before, it was weak and lacking flavour. (Also, if they have latte art in all their pictures, why was mine plain white foam?) I can only judge based on the 2nd coffee I eventually received and while all the other food and drink seemed very presentable and possibly tasty, and the interior of the place was very pleasant, the coffee was very mediocre and a very long time coming (+30 mins). So, unless they upgrade their coffee quality, presentation and speed , I wouldn’t choose this place for coffee.

The staff didn’t seem too friendly and not too helpful. The pasta was too soft, but the Turkish egg was good. The tiramisu was also too wet and not a dish I would want to put in my mouth again.

Overall Rating: 3/5 The Atmosphere The shop offers a genuinely cozy and inviting environment. It’s a well-designed space that sets a high expectation for the meal to follow, making it a pleasant spot for a casual sit-down in Sham Shui Po. Culinary Breakdown • Cucumber Bomb: A refreshing start to the meal. While the palate-cleansing properties were evident, the flavor profile was somewhat one-dimensional and didn’t offer much beyond its initial freshness. • Rigatoni alla Classic Carbonara: Technically sound and tasted good, but lacked a distinct "signature." It is a safe, standard execution of the classic recipe that meets expectations without exceeding them. • Caramelised Banana Juicy Pain Perdu: The most underwhelming dish of the session. While the components were individually acceptable, there was a noticeable lack of harmony among the ingredients. The balance between the sweetness of the banana and the texture of the French toast felt disjointed rather than complementary. Final Verdict Loop Kulture is a standard, reliable establishment. While the environment is top-tier for the neighborhood, the culinary output lacks the "wow factor" or technical mastery required to elevate i
