悄悄食堂是繼西九文化區的唞唞之後一個複合式的空間 這將會是一個讓客人好好用餐的地方 讓舒適的氣氛包圍你，提供讓人緩慢的節奏獨自進食的自在感 或和人分享食物的美味 同時也思考食物和生活的關係，一起發掘食物的本質或食物實驗的空間
選址在深水埗區，這附近的街區在過去一兩年出現的眾多小店 不論是書店，選物店，皮具店，展覽空間，以及大量的咖啡店 有遍地開花的跡象，也填充了一些從前行業停業後空置的鋪面 對這個地區來說，也許是提供了一個新的民間發展可能 未必說得上是活化，但絕對讓很多過往在貴價地段無法經營的形式，提供了落地的可能
我們認為，比起在這裡開咖啡店（這樣會簡單得多） 以食物作為主要的語言，在深水埗區可能有更大的空間
也希望藉著開設一間不同形式的小店，在社區建設的參與角度裡 由於不提供咖啡，可以避免同類店鋪的競爭 觀察到現在的狀況似乎更需要供應美味食物的店 那麼，比起開咖啡店，今次做餐廳可能可以支援到這區客人的需要 讓深水埗有更多元化的小店聚落生態，延長有人流的時段 希望長遠讓深水埗成為更Organic 更有生命力的地方

Ordered Ox tail gnocchi on their brunch menu. Please make your own judgement if this is worth $138. Looks like it’s the chef’s first time cooking it.

First time dinner visit with a friend. The restaurant ambitiously presented itself as an izakaya / Japanese tavern. I felt it succeeded in decoration and beverages, but lacked the food diversity and interaction with customers. The food variety can be enriched. Staff can take one more step to introduce sake or dishes. Frankly, as laymen to sake and soju (for most time we just picked beers or whiskeys), we would like to learn the taste differences among the sake / soju brands or types on the menu. Without any knowledge, we could only let the price tags dominating our minds to order.

Very good experience, unexpected!! The whole atmosphere is very nice and chill, mixed Izakaya and omakase style. Waiters or waitress will introduce and recommend the signature before you ordering. The food are very delicious, might visit again for the foods.

I had a really great time here on New Year’s Eve with my boyfriend! The menu here is so unique and the food is of high quality. The flavours of all the dishes are so balanced and their ox tongue is honestly one of the best ox tongues I’ve ever had. Their genmaicha tart has a really strong tea flavour without being overpowering. The service was also very good with the staff recommending different sakes and cocktails to us based on our orders and preferences. The vibes are on point ✨ I’ll definitely be back to try more items 😇

It’s a very nice decorated bar restaurant. It’s a industrial and raw decor. The bar has a lot of special cocktails! They will recommend you the best for that day. Go with your flow. This restaurant is in Price Edward and Changshawan, definitely not a popular place for this kind of restaurant. The food are decent, 明太子山药, 厚切燒牛舌, 醬燒吞拿魚高湯炊飯…
