Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Wow, I had such an amazing experience at this place! The two-person set menu was seriously impressive — everything was so fresh and beautifully prepared, and the atmosphere was super relaxing. First up, the Kagoshima Wagyu A5 was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth. The marbling was perfect, and each bite just dissolved. It paired perfectly with the Inaniwa udon — super chewy and silky, dipped in that rich broth, it warmed me up from head to toe. The beef tongue was thick-cut and has such a nice chew, full of flavor. And the black pork belly? OMG, it was so tender and fragrant, with a great balance of fat and meat. The veggie skewer platter with okra, cucumber melon, and shiitake mushrooms was colorful and healthy, perfect for a little crunch and freshness. For drinks, I loved the Netsui Ringo Passion Apple — sweet, tangy, and super refreshing. The seasonal fruit soda was also gorgeous, made with fresh seasonal fruits, and it really quenched my thirst while looking so pretty. Overall, every dish was made with so much care, and the flavors were layered and satisfying. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Sukiyaki for two – $898 This premium sukiyaki set centres around one star ingredient: Kagoshima A5 Black Hair Wagyu sirloin and ribeye, and it delivers on every level. The wagyu is simply outstanding — beautifully marbled with evenly distributed fat that melts into the broth with just a few seconds of swishing. Rich, juicy, and intensely flavourful, the beef almost dissolves on the tongue. The restaurant thoughtfully asks diners for their preferred doneness; this time, the wagyu was served at a delicate medium-rare (around 30% cooked), which brought out its luxurious tenderness and buttery mouthfeel. Remarkably, this wagyu doesn’t even need the traditional raw egg dip — it’s already melt-in-your-mouth tender on its own. The house-made sukiyaki broth is another highlight. Balanced and refined, it’s savoury without being overly salty, with a hint of sweetness that enhances the beef's natural richness. A playful touch — the addition of marshmallows in the broth — adds a subtle, unexpected sweetness that lifts the overall flavour profile. One of the best pairings recommended by the staff is the wagyu with Kyoto scallions. Lightly simmered, the scallions lose their raw sharpness and

My wife and I recently visited Juji, and it was an unforgettable experience! The highlight was their unique sukiyaki, featuring a twist of melting cotton candy into the broth before cooking the A5 wagyu beef. This added a hint of sweetness and made the meal fun and interactive. The A5 wagyu beef was exceptional, with its rich marbling and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The wait staff expertly cooked the beef at our table. The sukiyaki broth was then used to cook fresh vegetables and udon noodles, absorbing all the delicious flavors. We also ordered some skewers of meat, which were a bit bland compared to the sukiyaki. However, the overall experience was still fantastic. The service at Juji was impeccable, and the ambiance made it a perfect spot for a special occasion. Overall, Juji offers a unique and delightful dining experience that combines high-quality ingredients, innovative cooking techniques, and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Dinner at Juji! This is an A5 wagyu sukiyaki experience! They put the raw egg in front of us, as a sauce to be had with our beef! Before we start with the dinner, we had their drinks! Its a pineapple based and apple ginger based mocktail! both are refreshing to have before dinner starts! We had the A5 sukiyaki beef with egg! one of the most amazing sukiyaki i ever tried! beef melt in my mouth, added with the creamy ness of the egg and sweetneess and savouryness of the beef brings everything together! They also have skewers such as beef tongue, pork leek, okra, mushroom, and pumpkin! which are all nicely seasoned, just enough savoury ness to enjoy the skewers! We then have the sukiyaki soup filled with udon, crabstick, mushroom, beans curds, tofu, among others! the taste is really well balanced! it has that sukiyaki flavor, but not too overwhelming but also not bland!
