About 水上運動及康樂主題區
水上單車 Paddle Boat
水上運動及康樂主題區 is an attraction in Wan Chai, at 香港島灣仔鴻興道. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
Attractions, ferries and rental services are busiest at weekends, on public holidays and in the school holidays, so book popular slots early. Hong Kong drives on the left, and visitors can generally drive on a valid overseas licence for up to 12 months; boat trips and ferries may be suspended in bad weather, so keep an eye on Hong Kong Observatory warnings. Buy tickets for popular attractions online to skip the queue; some close one day a week.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 10:30–17:30. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 9559 3899. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work.
It has a Google rating of 4.0 out of 5 from 183 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.
Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Newly opened area of the Victoria Harbour Promenade just east of the Wanchai Waterfront and Chill Zone. There are duck boats rentals and an interesting 'Harbour Station' setup which includes two retired MTR cars that you can enter, walk through, sit and have a rest. Great views of the harbour as well.

Waterfront Carnival, autumn weekend. Running for the next few days, there are plenty of food choices and a few drink choices. Live performance and a drone show is pending at 8PM ( depending on day). Worth the visit, most of the booths are open at 6, but by 6:30 there is a wait time for food, as there many customers for the few stalls. The best beer deal is by the can (to the left of the exit). For draft beers $50 Stella in the middle and there is an 8 second challenge to the left of the music stage. Finish 500 mL beer in 8 seconds and it's free. Finish in 7 and you earn another beer.

Nice waterfront promenade, with paddle boat for rental. There is a restaurant & bar, good for taking a break to enjoy some food and drinks. It maybe a little hot to walk during sunny summer days, but good for sure at sunset and evening.

Fun, but lacking in shade on hot days so can be a bit tough to stay a long time if it's very sunny. Just around the corner is a new playground area that kids can play in after duck boating

45min paddle is more than enough due to the rather small area. Still, for once it is nice and good fun for kids. Life vest will be handed out before the ride.
