Smile Froyo•Cake•Gift (K11), a dessert shop in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, is at Shop B103, Hysan Place, 500 Hennessy Rd, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.
Cafés, bakeries, dessert and drinks shops are often mainly takeaway with a few seats, and weekend afternoons are the busiest. Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. Dessert shops are liveliest in the evening and some stay open late; ask for insulated packing for frozen takeaways.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 11:30–22:00. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2811 8321. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, smile-yogurt.com.
At 4.1 out of 5 on Google (140 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Concept: Greek yogurt soft-serve, made to order. Clear, tangy yogurt base with restrained sweetness. How to order: Pick a flavor, choose a sauce, add toppings. Fast service. Check the topping wall and display case for combos and house-baked items. What we tried: 1)Matcha warabi mochi + matcha brownie: Soft, chewy, satisfying. 2)Milk tea sauce + almond crisps: Bright acidity, clear crunch. 3)Chocolate set: Brownie + Maltesers-like crisp pearls; rich textures, not too sweet. 4)Caramel + oats: Breakfast-cup vibe, lower guilt. 5)Berry sauce + pineapple + lychee: Big fruit flavors, very refreshing. Highlights: All crunchy toppings are baked in-house. Stable, versatile base—mix and match works. Light sweetness; good for those who want dessert without sugar overload.

It's unbelievable that they would make the cup 10-20% smaller (notice it's shorter, rounder at the bottom) and have a huge hollow hole in the middle of the yogurt. Just compare to the cups used in the showcase (which were the previous size) and u can see the difference. It's also not unnoticed how the prices continue to go up over the years. This is probably expected in a place like HK. Have been a fan of the great yogurt-y taste of their froyo for many years so I am sad and disappointed.

Really tasty and refreshing fro yo on the 5th floor of the mall. I opted for a vanilla sky- the layer of biscuit crumbs was particularly good! Friendly staff, easy to order, great selection. Not much seating but i managed!

One of the few long standing Frozen Yoghurt (Froyo) shops in Causeway Bay, the froyo here has a balance of creaminess and sourness. There is a variety of different combinations, as well as choice in cakes. Staff are friendly. There are only a few tables and sometimes they are not always clean (they rely on the patrons to clean up). I've also experienced that sometimes the floor sticky as well. Would be better if the staff wiped it down regularly during the more quiet times. Otherwise, overall a great place to enjoy a refreshing dessert! 😋👍

The indoor area becomes more spacious and there are more seatings after moving to current location. Although there's no outdoor seatings anymore, the shop has a full pane window with a good street view. The yogurt is as delicious as before; the taste and texture of the special edition yogurt, which has soft frozen yogurt, crunchy pitaya crushed ice and springy jelly create an interesting contrast with good result.
