About 天府川菜
天府川菜 is a Cantonese and dim sum restaurant in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, at 香港島銅鑼灣清風街12號. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Opening hours are not listed yet. Hours vary a lot between businesses and may change at weekends and on public holidays, so call first or check the Google Maps link on this page. There is no phone number yet; if the business has a website or social media page, try there, or use the Google Maps link on this page for the latest details.
At 4.0 out of 5 on Google (26 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Probably the best Sichuan restaurant in this area! Great value lunch sets. I almost don’t want to recommend it because it’s already quite popular and I’m afraid it’ll be even harder to get a table. Apart from the spicy boiled beef and the fish with fresh chili, the stir-fried cauliflower is also amazing.

This is so authentic. I haven't had this level of Sichuan food in Hong Kong before. It is spicy and salty, which most Sichuan restaurants don't do enough. I quickly finished two bowls of rice with it.

Great place for authentic Sichuan food. If you ask for the maximum spicy level be ready to get burned, I loved it and can handle it, definitely amongst the most spicy Sichuan levels I have had in Hong Kong. Great value lunch sets on offer My favorite is the cummin fried beef with potatoes, really accentuates the spices. The fish and beef in chili oil is great as well Highly recommended for Sichuan lovers

This is a new establishment during pandemic. A local Sichuan restaurant serves spicy dishes with good services. The lunch sets are in good potions and deserve for value. Dishes are authentic and delicious. Highly recommend.

A venue for some authentic Sichuan dishes included spicy or sour poached fish and many other tasty dishes. It’s about HKD250-300 per head. Pay a visit if you don’t mind it’s run locally or in a noisy setting.
