Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Maybe dim sum is better but dinner was not very great. It was very heavy tasting and every single dish was super oily. Seems like every table mostly order the same things when it comes to the "side dishes", the spare rib, the shrimp, the vermicelli, the tomatoes soup and a veg dish. The presentation was wonderful and the service was great, however, could have went a little lighter on the oil and salt.

Shrimp dumplings as big as my fist..!! Dim sum was all fresh with big portion and authentic flavor. Friendly service and nostalgic authentic HK resto style. Good value, too. My new favorite dim sum place in Causeway Bay!

It’s all about the food before anything else. All 3 dishes that I’d ordered were very good. For dim sum, you can’t cheat by using very cheap and low quality ingredients and I can tell that this place uses good quality ones. Service was really good. Everyone was polite and helpful. Tables are well spaced out from each other for hk and cwb standards, meaning you can have a proper conversation without suffering from another table’s conversation within earshot.

Newly opened in Causeway Bay, "香馥樓" offers a refined Cantonese dining experience. The elegant ambiance and attentive service create a comfortable atmosphere. Must-tries include the nourishing clay pot-stewed soup, the melt-in-your-mouth Iberian pork char siu, the flavorful Shunde fish cake, and the crispy shrimp toast with a succulent interior. Expect to spend around $300-400 HKD per person. A definite recommendation for those seeking high-quality Cantonese cuisine.

This traditional Cantonese restaurant in Causeway Bay offers classic Guangdong cuisine. The sweet-and-sour pineapple black pork is delectable, with tender meat that makes it a must-try. The scallion abalone chicken rice is a perfect pairing, with fresh abalone and succulent chicken that surprise with every bite. The salt-baked spicy pigeon is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of spice that leaves a lasting impression. Each dish captures the authentic flavors of Cantonese cuisine, making it an unforgettable experience.
