When choosing a restaurant, check whether the menu shows prices and the service charge, whether you need to book, and whether there are vegetarian or children's options. Restaurants must hold a licence from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, usually displayed inside. Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve are peak booking times, and some restaurants offer set menus or add a surcharge on festive days, so ask ahead. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Sat 11:00–22:00, Sun 10:00–22:00. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. No phone number is listed, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best starting point for directions and any contact details Google has.
At 4.0 out of 5 on Google (352 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Food was a bit hit and miss. Some dim sum dishes were ok but the ones with BBQ pork (buns and rice noodles) were a bit stale. The AC is also freezing.

We decided to give this place a try, choosing it for a casual, simple dinner. We ordered the Treasure Pot dish, seafood tofu and white rice. The price was higher, and the portion size seemed rather small. Additionally, the taste simply didn't quite match up to the higher cost. Perhaps exploring other options might have been a better decision.

There's a talented cook in the kitchen, crafting dishes with remarkable skill and precision. Each plate is a testament to the delicate balance of subtle flavors and robust cuisine, showcasing the best of Hong Kong's culinary heritage. Must-Try Dishes: Crispy Yellow Chicken: This dish stands out for its perfectly crispy skin and juicy meat, making it a must for any diner. Steamed Fish: Cooked to perfection, the fish retains its moistness and is a fine example of the clean flavors that Cantonese cuisine is known for. West Villa is an obvious choice! No hesitation !

A good venue for traditional Cantonese food lovers, West Villa has been serving in Hong Kong for decades. Food: 7.5/10: it’s simple and old fashion style Cantonese food without too much presentation. Service: 6/10: it was slow especially during the busy peak hours(lunch time) and weekend - the waitress and waitress have been running around to serve many tables. It’s simply under staff and the staff was stressed or stern on their faces most of the time. Price: it was pricy for the service wand food it served. There could be other better choices. Average of HKD250-600 per head.
