West Kowloon is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Hong Kong has more than a dozen public holidays a year; around Lunar New Year, Easter, Mid-Autumn and Christmas many businesses change their hours, and some small shops close for three to seven days over Lunar New Year.

Without question, The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong was the best hotel experience we have ever had. We stayed to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday and the hotel made it completely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everyone made such a fuss of him and went out of their way to make the occasion feel special. We were very kindly upgraded to a beautiful suite with the most incredible views over Hong Kong, and the room had even been decorated for his birthday. It was such a lovely surprise. The Club Lounge was genuinely the best Club Lounge experience we have ever had. The staff were exceptional warm, attentive, thoughtful and incredibly personable. They remembered the little details and made us feel so welcome every single day. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The Club offering itself was outstanding too. We enjoyed breakfast, light lunch, afternoon tea, evening hors d’oeuvres, desserts and drinks, all in such a beautiful setting. The afternoon tea was particularly lovely, and being able to enjoy Moët Champagne every day with those incredible views made the experience feel even more special. We also visited the spa, which was peaceful, luxurious and exactly what you would h

Ritz Hong Kong is an absolute wonder of the world. It's truly a reason to travel across the world in itself. There are almost no words to sum up the experience that is a stay here, but what matters -- outside what you'll find online -- are the people. The staff are 6-star quality. You can genuinely see they value their jobs and have been well trained in the little things that make up an unforgettable experience for the guests. What is a usual day to them can be the greatest memory a family ever makes -- and you can tell they get that. My only request would be management review the cocktail hour time (8-10pm?). A Club Lounge of this magnitude should have a selection of spirits -- either self-serve, or with a bartender -- rather than a menu. While beer and wine are available, spirits were not, and sadly the drinks that arrived did not match the rest of the experience I have described. This is of no fault to the staff. It was clearly a management call. I've now had this once in a lifetime experience twice, and I can't wait to visit Hong Kong once again for a third. Thanks so much to the staff.

I had such a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, and it was truly made exceptional by the outstanding hospitality of the team. A special thank you to Celia from Guest Relations and Barry from Concierge. From the moment I arrived, they were both incredibly warm, kind, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and every interaction felt personal and sincere. Their attention to detail, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine kindness turned what would have been a great hotel stay into the best stay I’ve ever had in Hong Kong. It’s rare to come across people who make such a lasting impression, and they are a true credit to The Ritz-Carlton brand. Thank you, Celia and Barry, for making my trip so memorable. I can’t wait to return.

If you are staying at or visiting The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, the pool deck on the 118th floor is an absolute must-visit. As the highest indoor pool in the world, it is an attraction all on its own and a truly bucket-list experience. The views from up here are breathtaking—you get a stunning panorama of Victoria Harbour stretching out toward the west of Hong Kong & Kowloon, making it the ultimate spot to catch the sunset in the jacuzzi. What really elevates the experience is how exclusive and peaceful it feels. Despite being such a high-profile spot, it doesn't felt overcrowded. I can do laps and there was always plenty of comfortable seating to lounge and unwind. The space is impeccably well-managed thanks to Mike, Tammy, and the rest of the crew - their attentive service really sets this place apart. Highly recommended!
