Cafés, bakeries, dessert and drinks shops are often mainly takeaway with a few seats, and weekend afternoons are the busiest. Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. Bakeries usually bake fresh in the morning and late afternoon, and popular items can sell out early.

Opening hours: Mon–Sat 11:00–20:00, Sun closed. It is open 6 days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. No phone number is listed, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best starting point for directions and any contact details Google has. Its website is instagram.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

At 3.9 out of 5 on Google (72 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

Finally tried Abebe Bakery from Jeju that’s been all over my feed! Every time I walked past, I was so tempted, and I finally caved in. Pro tip: definitely share with friends so you can try a few different ones. The bread is super soft, but they do NOT play around with the cream—it is ridiculously packed and thick. It’s pretty sweet overall, so it’s definitely made for serious sweet tooths! My personal favorites were the Pistachio, Hojicha Cookie, and Blueberry.

Overrated bun by foodies, there are many other choices in HK for dessert and cakes.

Was thinking it's very good of the bakery to celebrate its opening with the public by giving out free donuts, but the requirements of gaining the freebie were too harsh, especially to elderly who don't have access to IG and Google Maps. It's a bit upset, not to mention the taste was so so.
