AOZORA bakery is a bakery in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, at 香港島銅鑼灣天后廟道14號地下b&c. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.

When choosing a café or dessert shop, look at whether prices are shown, whether plant milks or less-sweet options are available, and whether there is a time limit on seats. Many open seven days a week, but some small shops take a weekly day off; for cakes or large orders of pastries, calling ahead is the safest bet. Bakeries usually bake fresh in the morning and late afternoon, and popular items can sell out early.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Tue 08:00–15:00, Wed–Thu closed, Fri–Sat 08:00–15:00, Sun closed. That makes 4 working days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 9477 3690. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. It is a mobile number, and many local businesses also answer enquiries on WhatsApp. More information is on its website, aozorabakery.com.

It has a Google rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 85 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.

Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Popped in for a late morning breakfast after moving to the area. There was a steady stream of customers. delicious display of on-premise baked goods. My lemon cream cheese danish tasted great. The baker was nice to talk to. Will definitely be going frequently from now on.

My neighborhood bakery. Received a lot of hype previously because of their puff pastry butter toast bread with long queues every morning. Now back to basics and I plan to try their offerings one by one (so this is an evolving post). 1. Cinnamon roll - for those that like cinnamon roll/bun not too sweet this is just right 2. Red bean bun - local styled bun with read bean filling 3. Walnut and raisin bread - one of favorite as I am a fan of nuts especially walnuts 4. chocolate bread - brown colored loaf filled with chocolate in the middle. Sweetness is just right I think 5. Raisin Bread - 葡萄生吐司. Soft and tender 鬆軟 6. 羅勒蕃茄芝士法包 - tomato and basil with pockets of tiny cheese inside. Reminds me little bit of pasta! 7. Apple & Cinnamon bread 蘋果玉桂麵包 - the bread has plenty of apple, raisin and nuts inside, however it was a little too sweet and too moist in my view. 8. 明太子麵包 Mintaki Bread is tasty. 充滿著明太子 可能早上食會太heavy

Been here several times. Very high quality baked goods. We have tried quite a few of their products, their baguettes are crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. Pastries have even air pockets. One of our favourites is their Sichuan peppercorn hot dog. One of the nice things about this bakery is that they are constantly improving their recipes. Their baked goods are very reasonably priced. A real gem in HK.

Mushroom bun was big and delicious - bread was chewy and airy and the mushroom topping was generous. Strawberry pastry was full of custard, good flaky pastry and not greasy.

Had a trip to Tokyo recently & experienced many awesome bakeries there... Feeling blue after returning to HK & pondering why we have yet to experience any local bakery that is comparable with the ones in Japan... Serendipity brought us to this new bakery & feeling grateful that my pondering is over 😋😋😋
