Bakehouse is listed under bakeries & cake shops in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai. The address is 香港島銅鑼灣啓超道16號. Below you will find what people usually look up before a visit: the exact location, contact details, opening hours and the Google rating.

When choosing a café or dessert shop, look at whether prices are shown, whether plant milks or less-sweet options are available, and whether there is a time limit on seats. Many open seven days a week, but some small shops take a weekly day off; for cakes or large orders of pastries, calling ahead is the safest bet. Bakeries usually bake fresh in the morning and late afternoon, and popular items can sell out early.

Google lists the opening hours as daily, 08:00–21:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. No phone number is listed, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best starting point for directions and any contact details Google has. More information is on its website, bakehouse.hk.

Customers give it an average of 4.5 out of 5 on Google (1,083 reviews), a high score by any measure.

Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Tried their sourdough egg tarts since there was a queue (but fast moving one). Like the texture and taste. A bit sweet but still okay. Worth the try if no queue. 😊

Bakehouse in Hong Kong absolutely lives up to the hype — especially when it comes to their legendary egg tarts. Honestly, these might be some of the best egg tarts I’ve ever had. The pastry is unbelievably flaky and buttery, shattering perfectly with every bite, while the custard filling is silky smooth, rich, and just the right level of sweetness. Served warm, they are dangerously addictive. You can immediately tell how much care and quality goes into everything they make. Even with the queues, the experience is completely worth it. The smell of fresh pastries coming out of the oven alone is enough to make you hungry all over again. The bakery itself has a really cool, modern atmosphere while still feeling welcoming and relaxed. Staff were friendly, efficient, and the whole place had such a great energy. If you’re visiting Hong Kong, Bakehouse is an absolute must-stop destination. Go for the egg tarts… and don’t make the mistake of buying just one.

Very yummy eggtart! We came here for vacation and tried this on day 3. Since that day, we tried many places but this place has the best eggtart! The other pastries were delicious as well, but we haven’t got the chance to try many things because we got so hung up on the eggtart 😆 This branch has no seating place.

"I love, I-I get scared... that is being human, and that's my greatest strength." -- Superman Bakehouse became a top priority when I found out my home base would be Causeway Bay in Hong Kong. If you're a bakery aficionado like me, you should know about the awards and accolades of this Chef Grégoire Michaud bakery. Just two blocks from the mansion I stayed, I ended up visiting three times in a week. On my first visit I headed over knowing Bakehouse was ten minutes from opening and as I arrived I noticed the line already formed. Not bad, as only a handful of bakery fiends were in front of me. It gave me time to decide on Seasonal Kouign-amann, Curry Pot Pie, and of course the Sourdough Crust Egg Tarts. The signature Sourdough Crust Egg Tarts is the star of the show as it is considered by many the best ever! Upon entering, English is spoken freely, employees are bilingual with some even trilingual in languages, so ordering a breeze. I paid via credit card (also accepted Octopus card and Hong Kong currency). My baked goodies packed up safely in box and shopping bag. In the end, I highly recommend Bakehouse as it lived up to its hype and the Sourdough Crust Egg Tarts was definitely

The egg tarts definitely tasted GOOD!! It’s worth all the hype! Had to just buy only 2 because my sister and I just ate and we wanted to taste test muna but it was so worth it! The queue is also not that long compared to their branch in TST.
