Cafés, bakeries, dessert and drinks shops are often mainly takeaway with a few seats, and weekend afternoons are the busiest. Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. If you plan to work or study in a café, check for power sockets and any seating time limit.

Google lists the opening hours as daily, 08:00–17:30. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. No phone number is listed, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best starting point for directions and any contact details Google has. More information is on its website, instagram.com.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

extremely poor service. THE cafe should close at 1800 and last order at 1730. BUT when I arrived at 1728, they refused to serve me the coffee whole the staff are still serving other customers. Also disappointed by the reply I received on google map. I stated that I arrived before 1730 while the cafe blamed me for coming late. I cannot find any reason to pay a visit again.

Super fresh and tasty food, but small choice. They don’t have a lot of positions I saw on goggle maps. And Salmon roast is just a bread and salmon, It seems a little bit empty

The place caught my attention with its design. It looked cute both outside and inside. I think it’s a nice spot for coffee ☕️, maybe with a dessert, but unfortunately it really falls short when it comes to food. We ordered two salads, though it’s hard to even call them that. It was just some fish/chicken with an egg on top, and underneath a pile of plain greens with no sauce to tie the components together, not even salt. Definitely not enough to satisfy hunger. The coffee, however, was good. I’d still recommend it as a meeting spot with friends or a place to work, but not for a proper meal.

Pretty little cafe but the name says it all...more like a Bow tie cafe meant for the elite. The gentleman at the back of the counter wasn't happy to see us or was having a bad day (everyone has one). Ordered a matcha tea and a yogurt bowl which was delicious. Chocolate cookie was not so great. Overall the cafe was beautiful but we felt we weren't invited. Sad.

Received guests and went to this café with them. . I ordered Egg Benedict with Smoked Salmon and Mocha. For the Egg Benedict, its base was a piece of bread instead of toasted English muffin. The poached egg on top was runny, which complemented the savoury smoked salmon nicely. It would be better if the bread could be crispier. A bit pricey as the portion was not that large. The Mocha blended more espresso than chocolate, so it was more on a bitter side. It would be nicer if the chocolate flavour could be richer. . With blue and pink colour tone, the cafe looks neat and comfy. It is a nice place to sit for a while and do your own stuff. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// As they offered a free coffee drink Bowtie Insurance's customers before Dec 31, 2025, I visited with my colleague to grab a drink before the final day of their Wan Chai store. . I ordered Mocha. I felt like the chocolate flavour was a bit lacking, which made it taste more watery than expected. . They hvnt finished their relocation yet, but it seems the new shop will still be in Wan Chai.
