About 環球有福燒臘
環球有福燒臘 is a Cantonese and dim sum restaurant in Wan Chai, at 香港島灣仔. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

We stumbled on this roast meat takeaway after seeing locals queue up and we’re glad we tried it. Both duck and crispy pork had good flavour with crispy skin and the ginger and spring onion sauce was amazing with the rice. The owner was kind to talk to and generous with the portion. Thank you uncle!

BBQ rice in the middle of morning market. All sort of BBQ: pork, chicken and goose Hongkong Style. Reasonable pricing and mostly served the locals. We paid HK$50 for a box of rice with BBG Goose and steamed veg

Right smack in the middle of the market is this BBQ place. Can't get any fresher than what they serve. Got a rice box with chicken and roast duck for HK$30. It was delicious.
