About 滿福樓

滿福樓 is a Cantonese and dim sum restaurant in Wan Chai, at 香港島灣仔港灣道1號香港會議展覽中心. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.

Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.

Opening hours: Mon–Sat 12:00–15:00 and 18:00–22:30, Sun 11:30–15:00 and 18:00–22:00. It is open seven days a week. Lunch and dinner are served in separate sessions with a break in between. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 2802 8888. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is dynastyhongkong.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It has a Google rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 503 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving.

Great food and service. Decor a little dated though. The fish and meats were very well done but the desserts paled in quality, for some reason. Views were OK and prices were relatively high. Overall a very good experience.

The restaurant has nice, imposant high ceilings and feels quite cozy, despite its size. The food was ok, with a lot of hits and misses. Char Siu, roasted duck, and crispy pork were so so, the dofu dish was cold. The roasted chicken was good and so were the pea sprouts. Service couldn't crack a smile.

Nice posh Chinese style restaurant. The food was absolutely superb. I had a 4 person course meal. The food was very fresh, hot and tasty. The environment was fabulous too. The signature dish chicken was amazing.

We had Cantonese cuisine at Dynasty with my mother and my son. We ordered four dishes: deep-fried dumplings (Ham Shui Gok), beef chee cheong fun, sweet and sour pork, and fish tofu with vegetables. Overall, everything tasted very good and was well prepared. The portions were quite generous — honestly, a bit too much for just two adults, but perfect for 3–4 people. The service was attentive and professional, and the view added to the dining experience. A nice bonus for Marriott Bonvoy members is that there is a dining discount available. Overall, a very enjoyable meal and we would be happy to return.

Top notch Hong Kong style dim sum with a stellar view of the harbour. The BBQ pork (char siu) was great, and each of the dim sum dishes were tasty as well. Service staff were efficient and well trained. However, it gets kind of annoying when some items have already been sold out by the time we sit down at 1:00pm, like the crispy pork(燒腩仔); isn’t 1:00pm a standard time for lunch? How is it already sold out?
