When choosing a restaurant, check whether the menu shows prices and the service charge, whether you need to book, and whether there are vegetarian or children's options. Restaurants must hold a licence from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, usually displayed inside. Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve are peak booking times, and some restaurants offer set menus or add a surcharge on festive days, so ask ahead. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 09:30–20:30. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 2892 2789; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there.
It has a Google rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 1,368 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.
Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

The food was really delicious and the portions were generous. I ordered a bowl with char siu, crispy pork, goose, and red sausage, everything was fresh and worth the price. There was a long line but the service was quick and efficient. They have both Chinese and English menus. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the area. P.S. You may have to share a table with other customers

Nestled in an alley near the market of wan chai, they offer some really good hong kong roast. One of my favourite places in wan chai. Although the shop is small and can be a lityle cramp, but service is good and food is 5 star for sure. The roast pork, charsiew and goose is very well excuted. The soup is a must add on for a complete meal. Its our must go place when we are in wan chai, everytime.

one of the more popular local restaurants in Wanchai serving roast meat. My second visit, remember to take queue number. They call out the number in cantonese so you may want to stand near the door, but not blocking other customers. Food was good. You can order the 5 treasures rice ($88) which includes roast goose, duck, pork, chicken, sausage. Also the soup of the day is really nice, if you have a main course ordered already you can add on $6 for the soup. Be prepared to share table with other people and even up till 8pm it was still very crowded.

We stopped by Chukfo Taipan Restaurant and ordered the roast duck, crispy roast pork belly, and soy sauce chicken. Overall, everything was well-executed and enjoyable. The soy sauce chicken stood out the most - tender, flavorful, and nicely balanced. The roast duck and crispy pork belly were also good, with solid texture, but we felt they could’ve used a bit more depth in flavor to really stand out. Overall, a pretty good restaurant with quality Cantonese classics.

The food here was decently good~ the noodles were yummy and the roasted pork was crispy! The bbq meat / char siew was a bit too tough for our liking. The roasted goose was very juicy but it wasn’t hot / warm.. they have English menus and the staff could understand basic English as well which we appreciated. There was a long queue as well but we were lucky to only need to wait around 15mins at around 12pm.
