Located on prime real estate along Queen’s Road Central, this restaurant stands out mainly for its relatively affordable pricing. Although listed as a Japanese restaurant on maps, it’s essentially a Hong Kong–style café with a Japanese twist. Surprisingly, the restaurant accepts cash only. The staff are polite, but the food is decidedly average. It’s a convenient option for a quick, inexpensive meal if you’re passing by, but not worth a special visit.

For a restaurant operating in high-rent Central, its menu offers incredible value that is surprisingly easy on the wallet. To hit home the point, not only are the dishes beyond competitively priced and then some, they are counterintuitively cheap for Central. Even though the menu is low-priced, the food tastes good and the service is no better or worse than your average diner (besides, we didn’t pay top dollar, so, rightfully, we didn’t expect much in the way of service anyway). The customers (locals, tourists, families, couples, young, and old) flooded in not long after we sat down a little after 18:30 and by the time we left there was a queue lined up waiting for tables. If nothing else, this was a sign of the restaurant’s popularity.

the service was super quick and food came in a few minutes. for the price and location AND speed, this restaurant is incredibly good value. the menu has insane variety and does all kinds of food (scrambled eggs, don, curry, ramen) really well! love this place. the lunch sets can be as cheap as 50pp.

My colleague said there's a restaurant with high CP in Central, I was skeptical at first. It is located on the busy Queen's Road Central. The entrance is a bit small and a staircase leads to a basement, where the restaurant is found. For $58, I had a Japanese style sliced cow tongue with rice, plus a hot drink. The cow tongue was slightly grilled, which brought out its flavour. They were tender and juicy. Along with half-boiled egg, I enjoyed my lunch very much. The down side was, the portion was a bit small. I wouldn't surprise if one has to order extra to fill his tummy. Interestingly, there were sign on each table soliciting volunteers for local seniors and elderly homes. It feels like the owner has a big heart, perhaps the pricing is more or less reflecting his persona?

Value for money place for lunch in Central. Can't say the meat here is good, but given the price you pay, it's a reasonable deal. This place can be pretty crowded during lunch hours and expect to line up at the entrance for a while. But the lineup is underground, so it's ok, not too hot.
