Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

Hidden jam in central served amazing Japanese food! We have two different set- Deluxe Mikoto Omakase Sashimi Rice Bowl and Grilled A4 Wagyu beef rice bowl. Starting with a super fresh and seasoned by home-made sauces, delicious! Following with a super smooth and flavour song stem egg pudding. Both of the main courses are well prepared-beef is rich and tender; all the sashimi are super fresh collection. The Toro just melted in my mouth… Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Chef Hai Yan served sashimi rice (special): As the main character and signature dish, the master naturally does not recklessly, open the wooden box and impromptu slices of different kinds of sashimi, even the seaweed and crab meat are arranged meticulously. The finely crafted sashimi donburi, when placed in front of us, in addition to feeling quite swollen, is quite eye-catching,

Had their $430 premium omakase sashimi don and some side dishes. All the fish tasted good, at the right temperature. Rice was proper Japanese rice with a hint of seasoning. Walked in on a weeknight, worth going if you are OK with the price. Small shop but clean.

Quite a high quality Sashimi Don restaurant in Central, nicely decorated and cozy. Both counter seats and tables are available. The charge for a set is reasonable at Central. On line advance booking is required. Their deluxe Sashimi rice bowl is nicely presented with different colour of Sashimi on the top of the rice. Sashimi are fresh, yummy and with different tastes. While the bowl is served, the waitress will guide you the sequence of taking the Sashimi. All Omaskase Sashimi are of high quality and rarely served in normal Japanese restaurant such as uni and golden eye snapper. You must try their special omakase shellfish set which include Scallop, geoduck, screw, uni and etc. Very delicious and well presented in a bowl. Furthermore, both Omakase Sashimi and shellfish rice are of large portion.
