Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere.

An excellent Nostalgic Dim Sum Experience in the Heart of Mong Kok and is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic, old-school Hong Kong flavors. The restaurant is styled beautifully like a 1960s local neighborhood, complete with retro signs, rooster teapots, and vintage tableware. The servers are polite and detail-oriented, even pouring your soy sauce table-side. The average price ranges around HKD 100–150 per person, offering top-tier quality without breaking the bank. This has easily become my go-to spot for dim sum in Kowloon. Highly recommended for both locals and travelers!

Welcome to the best Cantonese YinCha (飲茶🫖) restaurant in Mongkok ! This is renovated in the late 80’s decoration styled with Hong Kong small stores. (The best for taking photos!) The air-conditions is super comfortable! Wonderful DimSum here ❤️❤️❤️ Must try various DimSum here! They are prepared in a healthy way… less oil and less salt Excellent services👍🏻 very nice helpful waiters and waitresses 😉 Did you know … after walking along the Ladies’ Street, this is the best place to relax a bit with DimSum and some Cantonese desserts or try the HK soft drinks 💓 Definitely you will love the HK Style 🥰

As far as atmosphere goes, this place gets a solid 5 stars. Decorated in a retro style, reminiscent of an 80s market, you can see the love in the details. I was tickled to experience this and relished in the red plastic lights that were prominently used at wet markets when I was growing up, especially around the butcher stalls. The dim sum was pretty good as well. I loved that they offer some old school dim sum such as 鵪鶉蛋燒賣皇 which is a quail egg shu mai, and 鯪魚球 fried dace balls which were both above average. I can't wait to come back again to try more things. UPDATE: Came back again but didn't realize that you had to order everything pretty quickly and that there's a 90-minute limit to dine. We were one hour into our meal when we wanted to order more things but our online ordering was locked. After inquiring, we were told that we weren't allowed to order more as that would exceed the 90-minute limit. Just keep this in mind! Reservations highly recommended otherwise you will be waiting a while!

This was a hidden gem coming from a tourist! The service was lovely, all the staff were attentive! So helpful despite having some language barrier. Food was super delicious! All we’ve ordered in the photos were amazing! I give it a full 5 because the setting kinda brings back memories while growing up in and Asian household. A must try!

Overall good quality old style dim sum and super delicious. Love the retro decor, very spacious and clean vibes, interesting picture moments. Reasonable prices too. There’s a 90 minute dine in restriction. Service could be better, the whole experience a little marred by a fierce staff. Otherwise, five stars all around Highly recommend and will return.
