When choosing a restaurant, check whether the menu shows prices and the service charge, whether you need to book, and whether there are vegetarian or children's options. Restaurants must hold a licence from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, usually displayed inside. Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve are peak booking times, and some restaurants offer set menus or add a surcharge on festive days, so ask ahead. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 11:00–22:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. There is no phone number yet; if the business has a website or social media page, try there, or use the Google Maps link on this page for the latest details.
It has a Google rating of 3.7 out of 5 from 919 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.
Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

The food is okay, but the prices aren't cheap. There's free filtered water, but no ice, just hot water! The milk tea is pretty good. I didn't see any napkins, so you need to bring your own! The roast goose was very tender, and the skin was crispy and rich! However, there were very few vegetables in the serving.

That 3-point-something rating simply does not reflect reality. Every time I come to Hong Kong, I make a pilgrimage to Ki’s for the roasted goose leg rice, and not once has it let me down. Frankly, if Heathrow immigration asked for proof of my reason for visiting Hong Kong, I’d probably just show them a photo of the goose leg. Their signature lychee-wood smoked roasted goose is the star of the show. The gentle smoky aroma, the perfectly crisp skin, and the tender, juicy meat come together like a culinary boy band that actually deserves the hype. Yes, the goose leg costs more, but let’s be honest, the leg is where all the glory lives. I’d happily order two, were it not for the small inconvenience of human cardiovascular limitations. As for the service: no, it’s not The Ritz. But this is a classic Hong Kong cha chaan teng , speed and accuracy are part of the culture. The aunties serving the tables are actually perfectly friendly, especially if you approach them like a normal decent human being instead of a food critic auditioning for MasterChef. Cleanliness is admittedly average, but also very much in line with the authentic cha chaan teng experience. It’s not pristine, but neith

We ordered the Roast Goose, BBQ Pork, and Crispy Roast Pork. We also tried their Milk Tea and Horlicks drink! The roast goose was heavenly… just the right amount of fat; and their Crispy Roast Pork was just too sinful to hate. The crunch! Techie place. Order through QR Code. No credit cards accepted though.

Food was so-so. Portions were generous for 6 pax. Chicken was tough. Goose meat had a lot of fats but that's the way it is. Better goose meat elsewhere though. Staff was quite patient with us. Price was reasonable, we had the set

Ki’s roasted goose rice is easy to find across Hong Kong Island, and what I appreciate is the consistency. The roast goose is great, though I do wish they gave a bit more meat for the portion. Prices are decent, not the cheapest but acceptable. Definitely one of the better options around, but I wouldn’t call it amazing.
