Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Recommended by friend who lived in Hong Kong for a long time. I went there on Sunday lunch and it was packed with local residents. Dim sum was pretty good! Please get tofu pudding!!

Despite being tucked in a busy mall, San Xi Lou stands out with its thoughtful cooking and quality ingredients. Their signature claypot pepper prawns were fragrant even before they reached the table—crispy shells, creamy roe, and just the right heat. The prawn paste water spinach hotpot was full of umami, using tender stems and generous chunks of dried shrimp. Also enjoyed the garlic veal cubes, dry-fried with crisp garlic chips, and the refreshing green pepper fish soup. A rare find in Causeway Bay that actually delivers on both flavour and effort.

Alumni gathering, nice the restaurant offered a room for us. Very nice service and excellent foods specially the desserts. First time to try peking style goose. Sweet and Sour Pork, not only with pineapple, but also with cranberries and raspberries, very special. The flavor of mackerel and macanthus is way too spicy, but nevertheless is delicious. The fried rice is good regardless of the heavy ingredients.

This location is conveniently located near the Causeway Bay MTR station, making it easily accessible. The Afternoon Tea promotion offers a tempting 20% discount for guests seated after 2pm, making it a great deal for those looking to enjoy a leisurely meal. While the overall food quality was satisfactory, the standout star of the meal was the Tofu Pudding. Made to order, this dessert is both aromatic and incredibly smooth in texture. The generous portion size, equivalent to about 5-6 bowls, is perfect for sharing. The accompanying aromatic floral syrup adds a delightful twist. With its inviting ambiance and delicious dessert options, it's a great spot.

They live up to their Sichuan hot spicy reputation. We ordered "water boiled fish" as one of the dishes that is famous here and it didn't disappoint. "spicy chicken" is also good. Lee's Theatre location is a new location so the setting is new looking. And staff was very attentive. Would recommend for return and good for family gathering. They also have a hotpot menu
