About Truffle Bakery Hong Kong

Truffle Bakery Hong Kong is a bakery in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, at G/F, The Hedon, 11 Matheson St, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.

When choosing a café or dessert shop, look at whether prices are shown, whether plant milks or less-sweet options are available, and whether there is a time limit on seats. Many open seven days a week, but some small shops take a weekly day off; for cakes or large orders of pastries, calling ahead is the safest bet. Bakeries usually bake fresh in the morning and late afternoon, and popular items can sell out early.

Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

🌸 A bakery born of Japan’s grace, Where 🌟 Takuya Kimura once left his trace. 🍰 In Hong Kong, rare flavours bloom, Exclusive scents drift through the room. 🍵 Hojicha — tender, slow, refined, Each cup brewed with a patient mind. 💺 AJ whispers, soft and clear: “Add seats and height — let guests rest here.” ☕✨

I ordered the chocolate truffle salt bread! It consists of chocolate cream and I was advised to consume it asap! It was quite a delightful indulgence! The cream is light in texture and comprises mini chocolate bits which is a nice touch. One little problem is that it could be a little salty because of the salt on top of the bread.

The service here was fantastic and made my visit pleasant. 😊 However, the atmosphere was a bit too crowded for my liking initially, though it seems to have calmed down now. The first part of my experience was pretty good! 🍰 I enjoyed it. ✨

Not a huge salt bread fan (mid, beta, npc). But the cherry danish is really good (star of the show, aura, mafia boss, diva) gagged me lowk. Also tried the lemon yogurt donut, it’s pretty good too! Just not as much as the danish.

We got a regular truffle salt bread and a chocolate mousse truffle salt bread. The regular was fine - strong truffle flavour - but they don’t do toasting so be prepared to eat it cold and without a crunchy base. The chocolate was good but it completely overpowered the truffle, as I couldn’t taste much of it. Atmosphere wise, if you’re looking to eat inside the shop, there aren’t chairs at all. The surrounding areas are also rather cramped, so it’s honestly a grab and go situation, typical for Hong Kong.
