About 文興酒家 (灣仔)
文興酒家 (灣仔), a Cantonese and dim sum restaurant in Wan Chai, is at 香港島灣仔摩理臣山道9號天樂廣場一樓. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Opening hours: daily, 11:30–16:30 and 17:30–22:00. It is open seven days a week. There is a break between the lunch and dinner sessions. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2889 9883; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there.
At 4.1 out of 5 on Google (187 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving.

It’s not easy to find a decent Cantonese BBQ spot, but this is one of the better ones. The roast goose (half) is $268, and the char siu is $188. Even the tea set is well presented — a thoughtful touch that makes the whole experience more enjoyable.

Authentic Chinese food in central & western area. Already been to there twice and still worth to come back. No time limited and you can chill till it close. However the spicy prawn is a bit disappointing as only 4 prawns inside.

Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant, which originally hails from London, was a place we were excited to try after a friend highly recommended it. She assured us that we would love the experience, and we were eager to see if it lived up to her praise. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a vibrant atmosphere and a menu filled with enticing options. The food was indeed tasty, with each dish bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, ensuring that we left feeling satisfied. However, the dining experience was somewhat marred by a noticeable lack of service. We found ourselves having to serve our own tea, and it was challenging to get the staff’s attention to replace our dirty plates. The restaurant's compact seating arrangement seemed to hinder the servers' ability to move freely and attend to customers effectively. The tight space became a bit of a nuisance; at one point, I accidentally bumped into the customer sitting behind me with my chair, which added to the discomfort. While there are many remarkable Cantonese cuisines to explore in Hong Kong, this experience didn't leave us with a strong desire to return. Overall, the delicious food was a highlight, but the service and seating

food are quite nice: the lunch tasting menu is worth trying, especially the sour and sweet pork. The soup is nice, too. I and my frd enjoyed the lunch very much. One thing that would make u feel bad is its booking service is not very good, staff members are quite unhelpful. u may need to walk in a bit earlier in order to get a table.
