Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

Outstanding stay at a world-class property with just a few minor flaws The Rosewood Hong Kong truly lives up to its reputation. It is a stunning, beautifully located hotel where the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. Its title as one of the best hotels in the world is thoroughly well-deserved. The highlights Darkside bar: Exceptional atmosphere, made even better by the outstanding management team. Concierge team: Exceptionally available, proactive, and highly professional throughout our stay. Service: The entire staff was attentive, thoughtful, and consistently focused on guest comfort. Rooms: Wonderfully appointed with top-tier equipment, luxurious finishes, and thoughtful amenities. Areas for improvement Breakfast quality: The breakfast was acceptable, but underwhelming for a property of this caliber. Selection felt surprisingly limited, the fresh fruit lacked flavor, and the pastries fell short of expectations. Large group management: Handling large parties could be improved. During our stay, the presence of the Bayern Munich team caused notable friction, as they frequently monopolized the elevators and tied up a significant portion of the staff whenever t

hmm many good things of course but barely the worlds best hotel. spa facilities old already with stains in the hot tub. spa staff incrediblyyyyyy rude, not in the way that they scream at you of course but just very inconsiderate like seeing you struggle with a smaller locker and not telling you there’s a bigger one just behind you. can u imagine?? they also don’t seem to know the facilities well. worst of alll if u complain, the team and the manager just do not admit that they did what they did. spa experience horrible. sad cuz its not my experience the first time a few years ago. i understand they changed operators? pool staff very nice tho. at the dark side bar, audience quite bad taste in music would request pop songs in a jazz bar many times. again many good things but would not recommend if you like finer things in life not just doing things for the gram

My wife and I stayed at the Rosewood for a 4 night stay in late April 2026. Unfortunately the first room provided to us had an odour which my wife could not tolerate... and the airconditioning in that room was very loud. But it was a stunning room, beautifully appointed and a great view. Thankfully we contacted the Rosewood Team and Louisa from Manaement immediately took us to a much bigger and better room as it was a busy weekend and all equal rooms were booked out. This room was a corner suite and the views were absolutely spectacular. Again the room was gorgeous...all the refined details.expected and great on accessories and storage etc. All hi tech electric blinds etc...the rooms were fully carpeted. The location on the Kowloon side is perfect with many attractions including access to the Harbour, museums and large shopping centres a short walk away. We even attended a catholic mass a short walk away. The building itself is an architectural icon especially when viewed from the Hong Kong Island side. Service and staff were first class, just had a small language barrier issue on one occasion but all was good and they were all friendly... Resturamts were very good but you can not
