Kwun Tong is part of the Kwun Tong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Many Kwun Tong industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios; note the building name and floor, as access can differ in the evening and at weekends.

The food is decent. While the rice portion is generous, the rice itself is somewhat stale. The service is self-serve. The seating at the bar is not particularly comfortable, and the open space lacks air conditioning.

Waited so long for our food that the customer arrived later has nearly finished his food. Pork katsu don is alright but they hide the pork under tge egg, which makes the wet rather than crispy. Wings are dried and a bit overcooked. Iced matcha taste weird. Loud noises in the mail keep jump scaring us. Not recommended but can try for the given price range.

visited isshouya, this quiet japanese corner in the wave, kwun tong 🍃 the environment is surprisingly peaceful and quiet once we cross the main street, making it a comfortable dining experience with no long queues 😌 although there was only one staff member handling the floor, the service was still very attentive 🤝 it is semi-self service, so we grab our own utensils and water easily🥤 🥩 特選燒牛肉飯 🍳 滑蛋雞肉牛肉飯 ordered the premium roasted beef rice and the chicken and beef with scrambled egg rice 🍳 both tasted japanese and the cost performance ratio is high since every set comes with clam miso soup, pickles, and salad 🥣😋
