Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

Best takoyaki I’ve had. Loved this place. This whole market is the best, a wonderful vibe. There are no seats here and you have to wait a while, and the staff were grumpy. But it doesn’t detract at all because this food is EXCELLENT. All part of the experience, 100% will be back. Get the honey mustard & truffle combo. Loved it!

Tried the signature takoyaki and it was delicious! I wanna come back for more types. I think that's a tasty, quite filling, and somewhat affordable snack.

2025 August 4.5★ Located inside central market at the street food area. Soft opening right now. Takoyaki with fish roe 8pcs $47 HKD Crispy, lots of octopus and a generous amount of fish roe. Great texture and flavors. Way better than some of the places even in Japan! Worth checking out. Would recommend and come again.

It was tasty. The only downside is they don't accept octopus payment.
