中庭, a Cantonese and dim sum restaurant in Wan Chai, is at 香港島灣仔港灣道1號香港會議展覽中心. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.

When choosing a restaurant, check whether the menu shows prices and the service charge, whether you need to book, and whether there are vegetarian or children's options. Restaurants must hold a licence from the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, usually displayed inside. Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve are peak booking times, and some restaurants offer set menus or add a surcharge on festive days, so ask ahead. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 11:30–15:00 and 18:00–22:00, Sat–Sun 11:00–15:00 and 18:00–22:00. It is open seven days a week. Lunch and dinner are served in separate sessions with a break in between. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2582 7332. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is restaurants.hkcec.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

At 4.1 out of 5 on Google (96 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

This Chinese restaurant near the Convention Centre recently reopened after renovations. I went with high expectations, only to find that little had changed beyond the décor. The space feels newer, and prices have gone up—but the food quality hasn’t improved. It seems the restaurant is relying on its convenient location and regular exhibition visitors rather than enhancing its offerings. Unless you’re in a rush to dine near the Convention Centre, there are far better Chinese restaurants in the area worth your time.

Went to HKCEC for an exhibition, finished at about dinner time, so popped in this restaurant. The environment is bright and spacious. Food is tasty and service is good.

My colleague and I were attending a conference at the convention center and were looking for a place to have lunch. We decided to give this restaurant a try and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The service was good. The staff were both prompt and accommodating throughout our meal. The food quality was good too. We ordered some dim sum and a soup along with the crispy fried chicken from the a-la-carte menu. The chicken was excellent and cooked perfectly with the skin being incredibly crispy. The dim sum also tasted fresh and every dish was served really hot from the kitchen. They have a very good selection of Chinese teas to choose from and we particularly enjoyed the Tie Guan Yin. Overall the combination of high quality food and efficient service made for a great lunch experience during a busy day. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and delicious Chinese meal in the area.

The Atrium is a hidden pearl for having Chinese Crusine in WanChai. It is located in the world-wide known Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition centre. Going by MTR you just need to exit at Exhibition Centre Station. Also you can drive and park. Food ingredients, taste, presentation are fantastic. Traditional but with subtle new elements have been added in that make your tasting buds awake. I believe the chef team are very experienced and have motivation to innovate. Amazing! The front house team are highly professional with knowledge about the dish , guest comfort manner and efficiency.

🌟✨ Our family had a delightful time at the newly renovated atrium on the first floor of the convention center @theatrium_hkcec @dining_hkcec @hkcec ! The fresh and elegant atmosphere was perfect for a family gathering, and Jane, absolutely loved it! 💕 🍽 We started with some mouthwatering appetizers. The Barbecued Pork with Osmanthus Honey was sweet and succulent, with a beautiful caramelized glaze that left us craving more! Next, we enjoyed the Pressed Local Chicken with Fish Maw and Peppercorn, which was wonderfully tender and had a nice kick from the peppercorns. 🥣 The Double-boiled Sea Whelk Soup with Walnut Fungus and Dendrobium was a warm and comforting dish, rich in flavor and perfect for sharing. Jane loved the unique texture of the sea whelk! 🍤 We couldn’t resist the Dailiang Style Stir-fried Milk and Egg White with Assorted Seafood. It was creamy and packed with fresh flavors from the seafood, making it a family favorite! We also indulged in the Yunnan Ham in Osmanthus Glaze, served with steamed sweet potato bun and bean curd sheet. This dish was a delightful mix of savory and sweet, with the soft bun being a perfect accompaniment. 🦞 The Steamed Whole Lobster with Pick
