When choosing a café or dessert shop, look at whether prices are shown, whether plant milks or less-sweet options are available, and whether there is a time limit on seats. Many open seven days a week, but some small shops take a weekly day off; for cakes or large orders of pastries, calling ahead is the safest bet. Bakeries usually bake fresh in the morning and late afternoon, and popular items can sell out early.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 11:00–20:00. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 6015 2877; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work. More information is on its website, asokthaicake.com.
It has a Google rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 157 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.
Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

I originally came here to pick up a birthday cake for my mom. It is located on the ground floor of Central Market. If you enter from the Queen's Road entrance, walk towards the left and you’ll find the shop. The girl who helped me was friendly and patient. She even showed me photos of what the inside of each cake looked like, which made choosing easier since I could actually see the layers and fillings before buying. I decided on the 4 inch Pistachio Mochi Cream Cake. I left it in an air-conditioned room for about four hours before serving it, and it still tasted great. I would still recommend keeping it refrigerated if possible. The cake was light, fluffy, and not sweet at all. The 4 inch size was enough for the three of us to share. There were lots of pistachios throughout, and the cream was light and airy. My only complaint is that I wish there had been a little more mochi filling. A silver candle, cake cutter, and an ice pack is included with the cake. For HK$20, you can add a message topper for the cake, and they also offer insulated bags for an extra charge if you need to keep it cold while you're out. My mom enjoyed it so much that we came back a few days later for ano

Got mango cake and a durian treat there. Highly satisfied with the quality I got. The cake is for birthday, and the staff did a great job drawing the birthday cake chocolate plate. Service is great, the cake is delicious. Would recommend it to those who love tropical flavors!

Small cake shop is not small. Wide varieties of cake choices and some seating area. Recommends: “Mango Mousse Mochi Cake” 芒果慕絲麻糬蛋糕. Top mango part 100% like a cut mango and eat really like a mango!! The mochi layer inside is thin but still sticky. Overall texture and taste is so perfect!! “Double durian cheesecake” My first time eating a durian cake is having both a crispy texture in addition to the creamy texture. Both texture are all come from the durian flesh!! 真材實料!

The cake combines the unique flavors of Thai lime and strawberries. Each bite of the cake exudes a fresh lime aroma, which makes mousse not greasy. The sweet strawberries are sour and sweet, but they are fruity with lime, bringing a layered sense of taste to the cake. There are two strawberries on the cake. I also thought it was white chocolate at the beginning, but it turned out to be mousse pear paste. The natural sweet 🍓 chocolate crispness strengthens the taste. There is a place to sit outside the restaurant, and the choice of cakes of different shapes is a good place to celebrate the birthday ❤️
