Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

Amazing food. Staff are a couple of older ladies who are so warm and attentive. Food has got to be good. Very affordable and really tasty. We were walking by and happened to stumble here. I highly recommend. We kept ordering non stop. Everything was just …. Yum

Everything was delicious! The BBQ pork bao buns are probably the best I ever had. I also had the shrimp/pork with black truffle dumplings that were great, beef balls and fresh crispy deep fried wantons. Everything was so good and this spot is open late if you're in the neighborhood which is full of bars.

No frills small dimsum place in the LKF area. Ordered hakaw, crab roe siumai, and pork bun which were good. The truffle xiao long bao held the soup very well but the skin was quite thick unlike others we’ve tried. Friendly service and price

Good dim sum. I really enjoyed them. Unfortunately that they don't have steamed char siu bao but only baked one. Anyway, a small tasty dimsum restraurant to recommend.

Had a really enjoyable dim sum experience at Ding Dim 1968. The place has a casual and relaxed vibe from the moment you walk in. It feels like one of those hidden gems where the focus is clearly on the food rather than fancy décor. The service was friendly and efficient, and the dishes came out fresh and hot, which is always a good sign when it comes to dim sum. The highlight for me was definitely the Xiao Long Bao. Each dumpling was delicate with a thin skin and filled with rich, flavorful broth inside. You could tell they were made with care. Pairing them with the ginger and vinegar dipping sauce really brought out the taste even more. Another standout dish was the braised chicken feet, which were incredibly tender and well seasoned. The sauce was savoury with a slight sweetness and spice that made it very addictive. We also tried a variety of other dim sum items like siew mai, pork ribs in black bean sauce, baked BBQ pork buns, and egg tarts. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The baked BBQ pork buns had a perfectly crispy top with a sweet, juicy filling, and the egg tarts were buttery with a smooth custard center. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re craving good dim sum wi
